    Hi Ellie! I am absolutely delighted for you with the new job role. I'm also delighted for people who want to learn more about the things YOU are passionate about because having watched several of your previous videos, it struck me like lightning that you would be a magnificent teacher in your field.
    The passion and energy you get across is highly infectious and that can only benefit yourself and everyone around you in your new career. I wish you the best of luck and many more smiley update videos regarding your progress at Marqo. Have a fantastic Sunday!

    It makes it more exciting when software drives hardware with telescopes in traking stars or planets.
    Military ships using gun control to track targets, software connecting to hardware and the use of maths is so important when it is all combined.

    It's been some time since I left a comment under your videos... I should really fix this 🤓
    It is so great to see your success and your persistent passion, and also your courage to explore different paths and develop new skills! You have a very warm energy that revives my love for STEM and reminds me of all the wonderful people I've met since the start of university. I'm currently working as an astronomer in the field of celestial mechanics, but my future is still unclear (I should decide between starting astronomy PhD or changing my route quite significantly), so your video arrived just in time. I wish you all the best with your new job, and I'll try my best to make time for your course since I've always been very curious about AI. Have a nice cozy summer, Ellie! 🌼

      I taught it myself to be able to play the computer game/simulation KSP with mods. I used "Orbital Mechanics for Engineering Students" by Howard Curtis as a wonderful book. I really liked Lambert's problem and the solver and made my own porc-chop plotter with it. However I do not really see myself doing this stuff professionally. As a day job I prefer things a bit more down to earth.

    you should construct a software that will identify absolute dating of ancient chronology given a list of new moon or full moon observations or transits or heliacal rising observations that archeologists aren't analyzing, or just vacuum all the available inscriptions and let ai spit it out. you will advance and most likely revise egyptology and assyriology as well as all of ancient history

    Hi, I want to be a physicist and discover the smallest particles that we haven't discovered yet. There's a lot of math, so what would be better, to go for a bachelor's degree in physics or math?

    • @etamluos4928
      @etamluos4928 5 місяців тому +3

      Physics of course. Just do your work in particle physics and HEP. I'm not sure though what kind of particles you want to discover (like gravitons or what). You should also decide what kind of physicist you want to be: a theorist or experimentalist. In the beginning most people aspire to be theorist but in the end the majority is ending up not being able to get there (there are several reasons), so you better get good technical skills since everything comes down to programming, analysing data and in general working with a computer rather than thinking about all these pop-sci stuff many assume they'll encounter.
      P.S. My response might sound bitter, but all I want is you to understand that being a physicist is not what it may feel like in the beginning
      (And I'm sorry for commas, I've no idea where to put them since English is not my native language. I mostly use them intuitively and most likely wrong)

    It's incredibly easy to code that kind of stuff with Python and Copilot. You could probably just of uploaded your Rust program into the AI and it would have rewritten it in Python for you. It's crazy how good the AI is getting. I think the future of tech will be geared more towards inventing stuff than implementing algorithms in code. For me anyway, pretty sure I'll have to invent something to get rich.

    Course sounds cool I will check it out! I used to be a pro games coder (assembly C++). Getting into AI. Like R&D. Finds the maths hard to learn for AI, even though I did 3d graphics! Know Python well which helps. I want to learn how AI learns concepts especially. Looking to get work in it.

    At least you had a well-paying job/job, and had an honest chance to attempt a Ph.D. Yes I know others have it worse than I do, and others managed to get a well-paying job w/handicaps. But why do I pay for the community and moral expression and poetry and salaried money and opportunity for life of others? Am I a Palestinian, and do you (Ellie S.) practice BDS with Zionists in the proper sense? Or do you not like to get involved in 'politics'. I don't know, I am writing to you to make a point, except for the first sentence which is sincere. I do like your videos though, and have watched a couple. Thanks.
