The comedy and the found footage cinematography do cancel out a lot of tension. The camera is usually carried by a "straight man" with strong reactions to provoke the audience and juxtapose responses from other characters, showing them how smart/dumb one can be. Clever cuts and angles can also create horror/revelations. But the episode has the two cameras carried by the series protagonist and a delusional myth chaser. Their unorthodox reactions to threats downplay the experience we perceive through their lens. It's an example of found footage done wrong, but Jules is undeniably badass.
@enochlo9156 I'm a bit late, but there were also some seasonal rot issues. Overused jokes, flanderization, and other issues with shows that go on too long. I love Psych, but it got bad near the end.
Poor Ed and Lassie and every non psycho killer who was either shot or seriously injured 🤕❤🩹also Beast mode Jules was cool lol 3:40 This could be my last meal Shawn lol 🍘this episode freaked me out so much and kept escalating but I loved it lol
I don't remember why they're cell phones didn't work before and during the shoot out, but they were able to call for reinforcements afterwards to clean up the scene?
It is messed up they used Big Ed to prop the door closed as well as they didn’t check that he had a pulse later.😅😆 Also, I’m guessing Lassiter used to use that Morningstar on a whole lot of squirrels.🤔🤣
This scene was hilarious and very dumb. The Serbs came to kill them all, but each time they had them dead to rights they just creep forward with their guns pointed as if waiting for someone to kill them first lmao. Like, you literally just shot a guy and now you're hesitating from close range.
gus's expression elevate the comedic sense of the show SO much
I don't know, his lack of expressions ruined suits s8-9 for me.
He also expresses how almost everyone would be in this situation
“Lassie! Jules knows how to shoot a crossbow!” Fucking fantastic commentary Shawn
Gus, "This could be my last meal, Shawn", gets me every time.
"This really hasn't been my day, O'Hara"-
Carlton Lassiter.
This episode seems to be very unpopular but it is one of my favorites! I love badass Jules!

WAIT. This episode is unpopular?!!! This is definitely in my top three!

big ed was such a sweetie i'm glad he didn't die
This is the best show ever. Extremely underrated
i agree
“LASSIE, JULES KNOWS HOW TO SHOOT A CROSSBOW-“
I love how they kept having wrestlers on the show but in an earlier season Shawn & Gus were watching the Royal Rumble.
Lol gus gave up when he saw the red dot.on him
This is one of my favourite episodes.
"Jules, you're so badass!" Love them 😆
Even though sometimes the comedy ruins the intensity of the firefight, it was pretty cool scene.
"I peed; I'm still peeing!"
So what are the two types? I've seen at least 4 different types here 🤣
Really? What are the 4 types?
Poor Ed and Lassie and every non psycho killer who was either shot or seriously injured 🤕❤🩹also Beast mode Jules was cool lol 3:40 This could be my last meal Shawn lol 🍘this episode freaked me out so much and kept escalating but I loved it lol
Dulé does such a good job at making the most pathetic squealing. Makes me laugh every time
Shawn & Gus❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥😂😂😂
1:18 is so funny and so true
everybody gettin shot lol
I don't remember why they're cell phones didn't work before and during the shoot out, but they were able to call for reinforcements afterwards to clean up the scene?
Iirc, they didn’t get any reception for their phones and had to walk to a nearby ranger station that had a landline phone.
It is messed up they used Big Ed to prop the door closed as well as they didn’t check that he had a pulse later.😅😆

4:20 😱. #1 reason big people like him scare me
One of my favorite episodes. Lassie Jerry, I think it's called
Yeah you're right it's in the description season 7 episode 3
I love found footage films.
Gus is so me right here
I loved this show, this is episode is funny, wild and I was surprised to see big show from wwe play as big Ed Dickson. 😊😯
