@@nabildunggio1998 That was in a ying/yang episode where Shawn was getting super overwhelmed with the closeness of the case, so he asked Gus to sort of "ground" him by keeping it light, like any of their other cases.
@@nabildunggio1998 He's taking on Shawn's role when Shawn is forced to take things seriously for once and is afraid he and everyone else are going to break because of it.
Lassie being a sweetheart Gus being ditzy Shawn being upset Juliet being passive aggressive Chief talking about anything that’s not work Henry being nice
The last clip always makes me smile because it’s Lassie truly being supportive for Shawn And the end of the episode where he breaks the disc before Shawn admits what Lassie always knew gets me everytime
There's gotta be a compilation of people acting like Shawn to be made; especially with that one episode that starts with Lassie complaining that Shawn's gonna show up to the crime scene with some wild theory that's gonna turn out to be right eventually so he makes a wild theory of his own and keeps digging in throughout the episode.
I feel like Juliet in the 70’s episode was pretty uncharacteristic- scheming with Lassie to get the coolest sounding cases, kind of self-centered, it just never sat right with me. Gus and Shawn’s 70’s outfits and voices made up for it tho
This is my favorite series of all time but the only character I'm disappointed by is Shawn. Yeah, he was always goofy, impulsive, and acted kind of like a dumb@$$, but these moments that are *uncharacteristic* are actually part of why he was such a good character. He's very intelligent but didn't like to show it, so he tries to play dumb a lot. He isn't comfortable being vulnerable, so he tries to act carelessly. But in the earlier seasons, he has a lot of these moments, where you can see he's trying to maintain control, and a lot of the way he acts is very intentional and his way of keeping things in control. By the last few seasons, though I still love him, and he had some really good moments, it's almost like they stripped away a lot of his layers. Instead of him being a reluctant genius who is very intentionally acting a certain way, he kind of just comes off as a classically dumb guy who somehow happens to solve cases, despite himself, instead of because of him. I really hope in the next movie they bring back some of Shawn's seriousness.
I couldn’t agree more. That’s why I’ve always liked the first 3 seasons the best. They really turned him into a dummy in the later seasons, and it sold out so much of his character.
I hope in future movies(fingers crossed) they gonna show more of Shawn being a genius like he is and not just him solving a crime by goofing around with gus. He has a lot of skills but never happened to need to use them becouse someone else is doing it for him. And love Shawn being crazy and funny and not knowing math well but I hate how his uniqueness is now taking away from him
This!!! I hated that in the later seasons! Especially the Police Academy episode, Shawn's whole thing was that he's capable of all of the police stuff he just rejects it! Like he's an excellent shot and aced the detectives exam at 18.
Gus acting insane so Shawn could stay grounded in the yin yang episodes will always be my favorites
Mine too
Why does he act insane?

Shawn being upset
Juliet being passive aggressive
Chief talking about anything that’s not work
Henry being nice
@zhaisia leeann Pretty Much
The cast is so talented and the writing is so good that every moment they act uncharacteristic feels like they’re still in character
Uncharacteristically for everyone else is being funny for Shawn it's being serious.
It's kinda serious for Jules too, really showing how good chemistry the charecters have
More like angry
Lassiter in somewhat high pitched voice - "Uhh, Hi Shawn"
Lassiter realizing he was in high pitch - "its, uhh, Carlton Lassiter"
gus being uncharacteristic is hilarious because it totally shows us why he and shawn are best friends lol
4:06 Gus sees Shawn’s anger and does something crazy to cool him down. Best friends right there!
I love when characters are uncharacteristic
Black&Tan:A Crime of Fashion is one of the funniest episodes of any TV show, ever.
interesting- I usually skip that episode cause I think the models are kind of weird. But when I watched it recently it was pretty good actually.
7:17 "Head detective my ass" one of my favorite Chief Vick lines in the entire show! So funny
Lassie calling Shawn detective is an incredibly underrated moment in the show.
'Oh Spirits. Always willing to lend a helping hand'🦚
Brother Gus should've had way more of these moments
"Who wants pancakes? Whipped butter, maple syrup, WHAT!"
The last clip always makes me smile because it’s Lassie truly being supportive for Shawn

They showed in like the first episode that Shawn is actually a crazy good shot, I kinda wish they had done more with that
Gus being uncharacteristic makes me laugh so much literally my favorite scenes

What episode was that? I haven’t watched this in so long.
@@lawrencecalablaster568 I'm pretty sure it's the shark episode, 'cause they find a body washed up on the shore, but I could be wrong.
We need a "Shut up, Shawn!" compilation.
1:27 will forever be my favorite lassie moment (other than when he voluntarily hugs shawn)
It must be fun for the cast to just let loose like this and be themselves.

Henry and chief Vick is an underrated duo
Anyone else predict the moments when Gus meets his wife and Juliet dancing?

The Cast Of Psych is so hilarious right now and I can feel the fun never ends for this show. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's not them being uncharacteristic more as it's just them having more layers rather than, "asshole cop" or "strict chief of police" lmao
Can I take this as fate that an awesome video from my favourite tv show was released on my birthday?
@Edits andBooks Yes
The first one was def not out of character
@Haas Yea but he usually doesn't play that much in the middle of solving a case to the point where Juliet has to stop him.
nah that first one is totally a Lassiter moment
Best moments👌
Lassiter being nice to Shawn and Gus
C'mon son
Shawn shooting
We need a Mary compilation
SHARP AS CHEDDAR
i love your videos
A lot of these aren't out of character there just funny moments
Angry Shawn is the hottest thing ever amirite?
6:16 - 6:32 😍😍😍
I feel like none of the gus clips you picked were that uncharacteristic lol
6.16 what episode is that?
The Greatest Adventure in the History of Basic Cable. The one with Shawn’s uncle.
What episode is 4:47 from?
I believe that is the first episode of the Ying Yang saga, Season 3 Episode 16
This video feels so wrong.
