i love the random things shawn says like "dude. purple octopus at twelve o clock" its not needed at all but its just so random and funny. they do a very good job of clearly alluding to the fact that he has adhd
Yeah leading up towards the end of season 4 I was thinking he had adhd and then he said it one episode. Haha prob why I love his character so much hehehe
Psych…James and Dule are not only masters’ of their craft, but they make those around them that much better and funnier. It’s truly a special show that stands apart. Touches upon the humor of the 90’s (leading into Y2K), gloriously and uncannily spot on…come on son!
My roommate and I were talking about how it’s the only show we know that is just great all the way through. Some shows take 1-4 seasons to get good, and some are good for 1-4 seasons and then fizzle out but this was just 8 stellar seasons of beautiful genius
5:20 This scene encompasses EVERYTHING about the show. -Shawn being insane (ironic since he actually is in an asylum in this episode). -Gus reluctantly going along with the act or happily shutting down his antics. -Everyone else being done with Shawn's insanity.
As the most uncatholic catholic ever I have to say I love Genesis, Exorcist, Leviathan, Deu...the right thing, but the worst part is he didn't even say Numbers. (the five books of the pentateuch, aka torah) Also this tickles my adhd. Shawn has adhd & it is canon.
I delivered to a business with a receiver named Mauricio, poor guy endured me screaming that line for years until i finally showed him where it came from.
He never matured and he never grew up, he never respected his father and in this 3rd psych movie, he still disrespects him. In all 8 seasons he never had any character development. Where as Adrian began as the defective detective, by season 8 he had the most character development on the show, next to Leland. This just proves why Monk is better, Adrian went on to discover who truly murdered trudy and slowly get over his quirks, while Shawn remained the same.
Henry didn't deserve any more respect than Shawn showed him-- honestly, he deserved less. I don't hate his character but he was an awful, emotionally abusive father who saw Shawn as a tool to further his own legacy instead of a human being. He got a little better as the show went on but at that point the damage had been done and Shawn had every right to resent him.
What a weird metric to judge the quality of a show, basing it on how different every character is by the end versus the beginning. Change for the sake of change is not good writing, and Shawn's quirks isn't hurting anyone. Quite the contrary.
Shawn was unhinged for 8 seasons ...
@Mathias Eggimann And a movie-musical!
And the upcoming 4th movie. Oh and the promos.
8 Glorious seasons.
8 seasons 1 musical 3 movies ( 4th one coming soon)
I love how in most of these Gus is standing there looking at Shawn like “I can’t take you anywhere.”
Bro that’s 80% of the show😂
And yet he always continues taking him everywhere 😂
This show is the reason we named our dog Pineapple Waitforit Spencer
Lmao! I have an Oriental Shorthair named Galileo Humpkins.
We named our ducks Shawn and Gus, even though they were both girls.
“That’s… the coolest middle name of all time!”
It’s the reason my pappy named me methuselah honeysuckle
@@naqidoesps4lol i was gonna say waitforit is more a barney stinson thing
The fact that Gus looked at the Purple Octopus makes it more funny LMAO
The fact that Shawn looked offended when he told him to focus too. 😂

- I need a diversion. Slip a disk or pee yourself
*Gus gets up and feigns back pain*
- Doctor, my friend has peed himself
😂😂😂

you know that's right🤗
Come on son
This show was made in the early 2000s
@@zetoboogaloo8802 actually it was in the mid to late 2000s

SHAWN!
this "what?" always gets me😂
I'm a big billy joel fan but it took me several watches to realize the reference. I love it
2:48 that Chris Tucker in Friday impression is GOLD 😂😂😂😂
Shawn has some seriously unhinged ADD kid energy and I love every second of it! 😂
Casting on this show was just perfection 😂
I love Shawn doing his “dazzle and stretch” dance in the “9 Lives” episode.😂💜
Also love anytime Shawn does his high pitched 8th grade Jules voice.😉🤣
I sing dazzle and stretch every time I stretch or dazzle
And yet he had to fake it while in a mental hospital.

2:30 I want this as a ringtone or at least as a notification tone
Same!!!
It’s actually my text tone 🤣
Actually my ringtone is 0:10 🤣
I'd use 1:26. It would turn some heads.
0:53 is definitely in the running for one of my favorite lines of Shawn's. Totally underrated line (and impression) IMO.
OH MY GOD!!!😂
When he does it, he looks and sounds exactly like Jake from Brooklyn 9-9, I can't unsee it
Lassie is the older brother shawn never had and he was a lot like henry so that's why shawm always hung around lassie and annoyed him.
i love how psych OFFICIAL is making these compilations XD
4:40 Leviathan is a Supernatural reference of which Tim Omundson, Kurt Fuller, and Sarah Shahi starred in.
I literally can't see ANYONE else play Shawn and Gus. James and Duke nailed it. *Shawn quote here*
Chandler Bing stlye, lmao the Chris Tucker impresion is incredible
Now we need a part 2, part 3, part 4, maybe more.... Shawn has so many great moments.
I miss this dork so much
"boom boom boom, mUfFiNs." 💀
1:15-1:36 will always be the best comedic moment in Psych history
That chandler bing style was on point
James Roday could have played Deadpool in an alternate universe.

_clap clap clap_ *Mamaaaa!* _clap clap clap_ *Mamaaaa! Man, you just got knocked the f--*
That was an impeccable impression of Chris Tucker
It was Gus and Craig looking at him like he was insane that had me rolling 😂
I wish Gus would have let him go on for a bit. 😅
Well, much like Lady Gaga, he was born this way.
Season 1 Shawn was unhinged and I love it
0:08 it was until now I realize he was referencing Billy Joel song Movin’ Out
What episode is this scene from
If your crime show protag isn’t chaotic bisexual, I don’t want em
Wow, his Friday Chris Tucker impression is on point!
I'm still waiting to try Fries Quatro Queso Dos Fritos if the opportunity ever presents itself.
Im like the ice cream man except i have barbituates💀
These guys are the reason I have an Oriental Shorthair named Galileo Humpkins.
Wait that Chandler Bing was SO GOOD
I forgot about that! I also probably hadn't watched Friends at that time 🤔
4:56 Watch Juliet's face
I delivered to a business with a receiver named Mauricio, poor guy endured me screaming that line for years until i finally showed him where it came from.
6:55 is just spectacular set up😂😂
This will always be one of my favorite series!
the last clip cut out a few seconds before he sits on lassiter's lap
One of only 3 series I ever watched to the end wishing for more!
What are your other 2?
Hahahahahahahaha hahaha
So silly, young at heart and childlike.
Wonderful qualities in a person.
4:19 is the best!
Purple octopus 12 o'clock killed me 😂😂
The Chris Tucker impression is insanely good. Voice comparison is exact

Great memories
That Bible joke was hilarious.

Doooo the right thing
Loved it
Sweet rot I love this show so much
Which episode is the Cadillac bit from?
emilio estevez estehvez
can someone explain the cadillac joke please?
Apparently, is a reference on a Billy Joel's song 'Moving out'.

right well shawn finds no problem with this behavior and his dad was very….like it may seem endearing until you’re in it
This is just blatantly untrue
