- Five years after ending his run as iconic father Ward Cleaver in Leave it to Beaver, Hugh Beaumont made the first of three guest star appearances in Mannix in 1968, followed by two more in 1970 - here is every second of his approximate 3 1/2-minutes on screen in each episode...
Thanks Scott, never knew he played bit parts in Mannix:-)
great news. mannix is now on 7 days a week from 6-8pm ET on FETV. spread the word. RIP mike & hugh. you made us very happy. both were special people. not only talented but very kind as well. thank you for all the smiles you brought to us.
now mannix plays on amazon prime as of this date ;;;;; april 2023......
@@rogercrownover5950 good to know. thanks. I just wish it would be back on FETV at least on weekends if not full time.
Mr Beaumont was great in that government agent role in the first clip. Love it!
That was really cool seeing these clips with Hugh. I always loved watching Mannix as a kid, never knew Beaumont was a guest star (3 times even!). Great to see him playing a different type of character. Thanx for posting. Take care.
Scott, thanks for putting this together. Nice job!
Baylor School salutes alumnus Hugh Beaumont.
Mannix was a regular in our household. My old man loved it! Hard to believe my Mom and Dad were in their 20's. RIP Mon and Dad.
Thanks for posting this! Hugh was age 59-61 here. Interesting to see that he still had a good head of hair but it appears he had a slight bald spot in the back. He looked good though, sad to know that just two years later he would suffer a stroke. I wish we had some videos or pictures of Hugh directing community theater in the 70's. I did see that Tony Dow posted a 1980 ish picture of Hugh with Tony and his wife, other that I haven't seen anything else regarding Hugh's last years
A tip : watch series on flixzone. I've been using them for watching lots of of movies these days.
@Brycen Cesar Yup, have been using Flixzone for since november myself :D
Where did you find the 1980ish Hugh B picture with Tony D and his wife?
@@carltonsmith1059 It's on Tony Dow"s Facebook page
In the first segment, we find out our of the greatest secrets from Leave It To Beaver: Mr. Cleaver's office job is a government agent.
Both Mike Connors and Hugh Beaumont were excellent basketball players. Mike Connors was a starting player at UCLA under John Wooten.
Now we know what Ward did when he went to work.
Lol, 🥂
Did Mike Connors ever appear on LEAVE IT TO BEAVER?
@@RonaldCharlesEpstein I think that Beaver hired Mannix to beat up Eddie Haskell. The little prick deserved it. Then HE hit on Beaver's mom. That was my favorite episode!
Great, now I gotta find that last episode and figure out the ending!! Hahaha
so strange seein ol ward packin heat
Eddie Haskell drove him to it.
@@schallrd1 EDDIE BETTER WATCH HIS STEP..LOL
You know, and no disrespect to High Beaumont, but Mannix sure got his fair share of wild chicks !
Love ur channel
It's weird seeing Hugh Beaumont in a role other than Ward Cleaver
Yes, and his last one of dozens of different roles before and after Leave it to Beaver
@@shettrickHe also was on THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN with GEORGE REEVES.
@@tanmarketingchannel3436 Yes indeed, I have posted dozens of Hugh Beaumont's appearances in TV shows and movies here at my channel, including the Superman TV show that I posted here five years ago: ua-cam.com/video/jJvXXMmTwq0/v-deo.html
yeah those suburban types are the one's you have to watch out for!
I Seen Hugh Beaumont On Leave It to Beaver On Tv Before.
The sitcom is Leave It To Mannix. Starring Hugh Beaumont, Gail Fisher, and Mike Connors as the Mannix.
Cool. I've never seen Beaumont in anything other than Leave it to Beaver
He did some western work as well.
looks like Hugh was a smoker...
@@patgalvez4563 I wonder if he got Barry Williams high that 1 time.
He was also in the cheesy B-movie "The Mole People"......
@@urbanurchin5930 HE ALSO PLAYED BAD GUYS IN OLD TIME MOVIE SERIALS....
I used to watch Mannix every night, and my daughter even knows both Mannix's and Peggy's signs; both are (were) Leo's
Now, it explains as to why we never see Ward at work🤣🤣🤣🤣. He is either going to work or coming in from work everyday. We never saw him on his day job.
In some EPS they used the Brady Bunch house
Well. Well, Well, Ward Cleaver. Did you get lost heading to the set.
Now now he was. Too hard on the beaver
It's good to see Hugh Beaumont as a bad guy for a change
hH WAS A BAD GUY MOST OF HIS CAREER BEFORE BEAVER
Like when he played Mike Shayne P.I. in 5 movies.
Beaumont and Sue Randall (Miss Landers) in Mike Shayne... ua-cam.com/video/NwE2uEWB6Lg/v-deo.html
Ward smoking!!, and I think he inhaled!;-)
Mannix was,so hot love anne
Beaumont, if that's his real name, makes an excellent spook. I came across a few in the Air Force before they all became Tacticool and ninjas.
HUGH BEAUMONT MADE ARMY TRAING FILMS.....
@@patgalvez4563 I thought he was a "contentious objector:!?
It bothers me when a guy plays different roles in the same series
He's so hard on the Beaver
Ward from Leave It To Beaver.
It gave Central Iowa viewers an alternate show to Saturday Night At The Movies which was NOT CARRIED by WHO-TV.
I think it is funny in the first scene the guy rises up off his knees in front of Mike Connors out of view and wipes his mouth. It looks very suggestive.
ohhhh beehave....heh
