How could Dumb & Dumber destroy her like this? She was so epic and with a good heart.
If anything, this showcased her ruthlessness. She's not crazy she just doesn't really have boundaries in terms of gaining power.
Daenerys is a true Targaryen in every sense of the word. She definitely reminds me of Daemon.
@@janellejulianajoy true leaders had to exercise power. benevolent to their followers, ruthless to their enemies. makes subjects follow out of devotion and not of fear, makes enemies fear and tread carefully. she was written so well... i feel like crying for what they've done to her. i mean, i was expecting her to die, actually. but not go insane over night.

GRRM is setting her on the same path, but the actions are far more subtle and paced better(from "Winds of Winter"chapter of Arianne, she is already questioning why Dany sat aside and allowed her brother to be killed. There are hints Dany was already going to overthrow her brother before Drogo finally did the deed and Dany has an innocent family tortured out of sheer spite in "Dances With Dragons".) Nothing that's focused on TOO much, but together, they paint a picture.
Jorah looking around, uncertain. Barristan looking on, that slight smirk on his face, knowing what Rhaegar was able to inspire, what he as a leader was capable of. He knows exactly what's about to happen, and he is absolutely shining with pride because finally, finally, he _might_ have found a queen worthy of his service, and of beloved Rhaegar's legacy. I'd like to think he's listening to all of this going "Oh, Rhaegar. Oh, you should be here for this. You would be so proud."
If only Rhaegar could have met his baby sister.

this was amazing. For me it was the ending of season 6 when she got her navy and headed to Westeros. I wonder if their ever going to finish this show.

i think the hate is only because of her ending. which let's face it... that was not her true end. the books will reveal more i hope. i'm still unable to read them yet. waiting to forget more of the series to start reading the books. but only wanting to read them for the finale is... weird. they did the whole GoT dirty, man :(

i love how in the start of the show she was kinda taken advantage by her brother but now she is so strong and powerful. i also like the fact she knew the man called her such things in valyrian and she knew what he said and that the servant translated in a better way

Unsullied remind me of the spartan armies. Very disciplined, very obedient, and very loyal. Not to mention they are always in tight phalanx formation.... There is absolutely no way individual knights and soldiers no matter how heavy the armor and beat the unsullied.

I will never forgive D&D ruined my favorite story of all time. Daenerys deserved so much better.
It's called Dracarys and it's in the 3rd season soundtrack. If you search for it here on youtube, you'll find it. It's a variation of the song that plays in the 1st season finale, when the dragon eggs hatch and everyone bows to Daenerys. Another variation, called Mhysa, plays at the final scene of the 3rd season finale.
Anybody else read this in the books before seeing it? This is my favorite scene from GOT!! Wonder how they will make the scenes from books 4 and 5....
I think she will earn that Iron Throne without any resistance; large dedicated army & 3 dragons; no one would even dare stand in her way....

True leadership hereleading by example. She would rather have a loyal army of free men fighting with her than an army of mindless slaves follow her.
Her madness at the end is the complete opposite of this and shows how much she changed. Her mentality then was: if you weren’t mindlessly obedient/loyal, then you were a traitor/enemy.

In the books Jorah is supposed to understand Valyrian. Different variations/dialects of Valyrian are spoken all over the Free Cities (former colonies of Valyria), and he's supposed to have lived and worked there for several years. Dany herself, having been raised in the Free Cities is probably bilingual, being fluent in both Valyrian and the Common Tongue of Westeros. She probably spoke the Common Tongue with Viserys, and Valyrian with everybody else.
