PIC had a very healthy respect for unknow and dangerous weather and cautious flying..suits me fine...not sure it was "safe" letting Matt drive you off the airport property though! Lol
This video made me remember another one, when you get into a storm that was informed as rain or heavy rain whith your friens (Owen between them), explaining the danger of get into one, and the good decisión of diverting, and never exeed yor limits or good judgement. Greetings Matt.
That's 3 or 4 in a row with great content and a clickbait title. You're a smart guy and you're seeing the numbers, so I can only assume it's working for you. It's not working for me. Later dude.
Lucky guy to own and share with friends his pristine Eclipse 550, a GA light jet way ahead of its time…even still. (Not sure I would’ve taken the same flight risk.) Once, I was in communication with a retired LA area commercial pilot whose ambition was to fly the Eclipse around the world. After sharing hangar stories he later ended our confab. Whether he ever accomplished the world flight or not is unknown.
The odds of all primary screens failing is essentially zero, if you mean the actual physical screen. The information can be pulled up across any of them. If you mean the computational avionics behind the screen, there are simple backup instruments that will display to the screen in a simplified format. If ALL of your instruments somehow manage to fail, ATC can talk you down as you do a visual landing.
Matt, are you typed int eh Eclpse ? If not....At flight altitudes above flight level 350 unless one pilot at the controls of the airplane is wearing and using an oxygen mask that is secured and sealed and that either supplies oxygen at all times or automatically supplies oxygen whenever the cabin pressure altitude of the airplane exceeds 14,000 feet (MSL), except that the one pilot need not wear and use an oxygen mask while at or below flight level 410 if there are two pilots at the controls and each pilot has a quick-donning type of oxygen mask that can be placed on the face with one hand from the ready position within 5 seconds, supplying oxygen and properly secured and sealed.
When Hurricanes are projected to hit Savannah Georgia Gulfstream evacuates as many aircraft they can fly to Huntsville to remain clear of the storm. They also go to Fort Smith Arkansas if the storm is supposed to hit Huntsville and Savannah.
Nice vid - I’m in the market for Eclipse, whats the average cost for an annual and is there enough parts available since one Aviation doesn’t make them anymore sadly. Thx
he's so generous with sharing his radar sweeps. what a gentleman!
lol
Haha. What a guy!
Fucking humanitarian
Title not clickbaity enough. Was expecting more like "Flying Through Hell: Insane Experience in a Private Jet Through a Monster Hurricane!"
🙄

I had a ride one down along the Andes, and it’s amazing to be at 41k In such a small jet.

Thank you for posting this!!! I'm learning ifr and it really helps to see someone else handle the comms especially as someone as good as you

Matt be like: "Let's get some deviations to the left and go through eye."
Its amazing how fast that climbed out
And years ago before Matt flew jets, he played the Viola in Prague....here he is in front of the Conductor....ua-cam.com/video/KQ11T4UUr7g/v-deo.html
Remember when he was grounded by the conductor for playing his viola in a hurricane? Good times.
@@matthewmoore5934 He definitely had to "stand by and call this # !!!"
@@jonclassical2024 "possible performer deviation ... the section principal has a phone number for you."
LOL! Is that really Matt? It sure looks like him.
@@reason6835 It sure looks like his twin brother!
What do you do in one of these if the computer screen shuts off / fails?

Great video. I’m curious how you was getting Wi-Fi on your cellphone!
Looking forward to this!

Hurricane Michael came right over my house as a Cat 5 Hurricane. 155 mph winds. It was the worst thing ever. October 10, 2018
Giggled geee wasn't not nothing!
So this is an old video then

Are the joysticks mechanically linked?
Nice job.👍
Is this aircraft still being manufactured?
No.
can that jet fly level on one engine at what height
Depends on how heavy it is and the temperature, but probably around 20,000 feet.
He hasn’t learnt, has he, still dishing out the click bait!
What's up with the whole Gulfstream fleet?
When Hurricanes are projected to hit Savannah Georgia Gulfstream evacuates as many aircraft they can fly to Huntsville to remain clear of the storm. They also go to Fort Smith Arkansas if the storm is supposed to hit Huntsville and Savannah.
You need some professional and experienced instruction on the use of wx radar.

Are those the same engines they use on RC models?
No lol
Another clipbait! Am done with this channel…
It's a free channel. Clicks cost nothing. I don't see what the big deal is.
Obviously you are not a pilot who would appreciate what flying a jet through a hurricane takes but if you were you would
Clickbait
See ya 🎉
Lower your expectations.
Thumbs up 👍 no problem fly faster!
Do any of you actually read the bio? When calling clickbait. He said outerbands though he does exaggerate I give you that.
