The Sunny Boys - Alone With You - Live - 1982

RIP Michael Gudinski.
For 2 days on the Australia Day weekend of 1982, a number of bands played in a concert to celebrate Mushroom Records 10th anniversary. Organised my Mushroom founder, Michael Gudinski, 100,000 people celebrated the event at Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne.
"Alone with You" is a song by Australian band Sunnyboys. It was written by lead singer-guitarist, Jeremy Oxley, and was the second single released in October 1981, on Mushroom Records, from their self-titled debut album, which had appeared in the previous month. The single was produced by Lobby Loyde and engineered by Colin Freeman at Alberts Studios, Sydney. "Alone with You" reached No. 28 on the Kent Music Report singles chart.

They supported Ian Dury and the Blockheads at Cloudland Ballroom 1981 in Brisbane. Awesome because of the floor was on springs and of course it fitted in with the punk era😝
