- We again took Belka the cat for examination and consultation with an oncologist. The second oncologist insists on chemotherapy. We have to make a decision whether we will do chemistry for the little cat. We want to give our cat a chance for a healthy and happy life. Our husky dogs were certainly with us. Since this trip takes all day, the dogs ride with us. Of course we find time to take a walk with our huskies during a trip to the city.

We are still facing the choice of whether to do chemotherapy. Doctors assure that cats and dogs tolerate it easily. Moreover, Belka is prescribed small doses. We are inclined to believe that this needs to be done. But not her whole life.

I agree! It is a tough choice. I have also been told that animals do well on chemo, unlike Humans who suffer. You are in the thoughts and prayers.

She's going to be just fine. The worst is waiting for her nerve to grow back. I had experience with cutting of my sciatic nerve years ago..and I was lucky too...but it took aong time for all the feeling to come back without the pins 'n' needles feeling when the area was touched..not a pleasant feeling. It made me wince. Years and years later ..it finally subsided. I hope mine was way worse than little Belka's. I see her living a beautifull and very happy life with you. Thank you for being GREAT!

My method is to keep busy and just keep doing your normal everyday activities and just let Belka do her normal everyday activities. If you get stressed and pressure then you are going to make Belka have stress and pressure to and she cannot be feeling that way at this point in time. God has this and he will be sending prays 🙏 and love for Belka. He is watching over Belka each and every moment ♥️ WE WILL ALL STAY SRTONG AND POSITIVE AND WE WILL ALL PULL BELKA OUT OF THIS..AND GET HER BACK ON HER FEET. WE ALL LOVE ❤️ BELKA. Thank you very much Theresa! A few days ago, Bella received her first course of chemotherapy. Now she feels great. Appetite is good. We will prepare an update on her condition in the near future.
OK that is great news. Iam glad Belka is feeling better. We just keep on praying 🙏 and I will keep giving my love and support. We will keep on fighting this until the cancer is fully out of Belka body.

We all want nothing but the best for our furry kids, but so often it's hard to know what to do. I know that whatever you decide, Belka will be in good, capable hands and will have the best of care. Our Maltese, Cody, will be seeing an orthopedic specialist/surgeon on March 13th for a consultation on a torn ACL. They will get him into surgery for repair that day if it's needed. Watching our furry loved ones in pain or discomfort is so hard but sometimes necessary so they'll get better. Belka and your family will be in our thoughts. ❤
