- The little cat Belka underwent her first chemotherapy treatment. We had to take the cat to another city again. We live in the country and there is no proper equipment for this procedure here. All three huskies and two cats stayed at home. When Helen and Belka returned, the dogs were so emotionally happy to greet them!

Belka is so beautiful and amazing. She looks so relieved too, I think she knows things are moving forward for her. Olive is so gorgeous and protective! Bat is sooo smart and always on point, and that is the sweetest and most moving thing, seeing them cuddling together. So happy for Belka and your family, what a wonderful kitty!

This brought me to tears. Of course you guys are doing the right thing by agreeing to chemotherapy. Belka is so lucky to have human parents like you guys. @@NorthYukiHusky Thank you for the well wishes. Fortunately, Vero's tumour was benign, but for precaution, all her right breasts were removed. Watching your video made me teary cause I can see how much you love the little ones and the length you would take for them. I am so grateful that Belka's cancer was caught early and that she can get the treatment she needs. I lost my Tobias (also senior) 3 weeks ago due to undiagnosed CKD, and I wish I could turn back time, get him checked early, and get the treatment he needed. Sending my love to Belka and the whole gang ♥

It's incredible how calmly Belka tolerated the stressful treatment... I'm sure she feels the love she is surrounded with from her dear familiy; and this helps her coping with everything.
The warm welcome after the two ladies returned home was beautiful to see; they really were missed! Even Olive got her energy "under control", and showed so much caring affection to Belka - aaawww, so sweet❣😻 Support is really important; so Belka has the optimal environment for a hopefully speedy and full recovery.

Deciding on medical treatment for animals can be a tough call: when our old cat had a large tumor, we decided against chemotherapy. (I am writing this for others who have cats w/cancer diagnosis - and who might feel guilt for making another treatment decision.)
Fwiw, our dear boy, Cheetah - lol, a plain domestic tabby - had additional medical issues that made not getting chemo the better option. He lived almost 3 years after having the first tumor removed... and we miss him every single day.
