- We got the histology result. This is what we were afraid of. In a week we have an online consultation with a veterinarian. The little kitty is feeling well now. All my dogs and cats are kind to Kitty Belle. We are trying to make her recovery as fast as possible. But it depends not only on us. All the details are in this video.

With so much support and love from everyone in the family I hope Belka will fully recover. I had a co-worker whose dog had a cancer, they were trying other options to avoid chemotherapy. chemotherapy is apparently as hard on animals as on people. (their battle with the cancer was/is long, hard and costly, but maybe because it's in Japan, maybe in other countries the vets are better and cost is lower :). I don't know the condition of his dog now, because I changed work and don't meet him anymore. I hope Belka won't need that .

Praying for Belka's full recovery! My cat Odin, had Multiple Myeloma and was on prednisone and the chemo drug and went into remission. He did really well! Great quality of life- I'll keep watching and see how Belka is doing. I was worried about my other cats using the same litter box or communal bowls during the chemo- but other than me upping my cleaning regimen it wasn't an issue. Best to Belka and you all!

There are many opinions regarding chemotherapy. It depends on what type of cancer your Beautiful girl is facing. Hopefully you will find a Veterinarian who is knowledgeable and most importantly honest. Ask many questions until you feel comfortable and I mean many. You are Belkas best advocate. Just remember it's not the quantity! It's the quality! Stay strong and I'm praying for all.
Thanks! I like the clinic where we performed the operation. There are really good doctors who take into account the interests of pets and the capabilities of owners. we were warned about all possible negative consequences, but they did not insist on anything. We are waiting for a consultation with an oncologist.

Heal well sweet kitty. My Siberian husky Jax is recovering from surgery. Hopefully the cone comes off Monday. He has puppy like energy only one day after surgery. The first night was a heartbreaker, he cried all night but stayed right by my side. Huskies are truly amazing.😁

If it is any consolation to you and your family: we once adopted a senior dog that was 8 years old, sweetest dog on the planet. Only three months later, she was diagnosed with a malignant breast tumor. The vet was pessimistic at first, but luckily, we had found it early enough and it hadn't spread. The operation was a success and she lived on to the ripe old age of 17. I hope and pray for the same recovery for your Belka.

Oh! One game I play with my four cats ( a momma & her 3 babies. All born in my garage) I run a string under a floor rug. They go bonkers. Even though I cant slways see the string moving they know exactly where it is. Suddenly they turn into predator attack mode. Consider all of you's hugged!

PS Fwiw, I elected not to put my cats through chemotherapy. To me, it was about their quality of life & the particular kind of cancer faced. A friend's cat went through it & it seemed too hard for the pet, but all cases are unique. 🙏💖📿

I’ll keep you all in my prayers. Our black lab, Rico, developed cancer in his older age, he was closer to 12 than 11. Because of his advanced age and because anesthesia was not safe for him, we opted not to have radiation therapy, it’s a very grueling regimen. Instead we gave him his very best life. He comforted us as much as we did him. He saw his girlfriend on his last day, she was a lovely chocolate lab named Lakota. Belka seems to have good energy and that will help a lot. She is surrounded by a very loving family, that will help her too. We’ll keep you near our hearts, let us know when you feel up to it, how the oncologist visit goes. ❤️

@@NorthYukiHusky I spoke to a woman with cancer 2022 and she said for humans it only helps 1 in a hundred. She could not have it, but didn't want it anyway. She said she just enjoys each day walking her dogs and looking at the scenery. (She was lucky she lived in a beautiful part of UK).
