Hi, I got a replacement fan from online. When I tested the fan by connecting the blue wire to the negative terminal, the fan ran for few seconds and stopped. Is that means the fan is still bad.
I'm getting the code on my civic hybrid but when I shut the car off the fan runs at full blast. Sounds similar to your situation, did you figure out your issue?
@@MikePiescoMy problem might be different to yours but in my case , beside the code of the fan , I notice that the inverter wasn't charging the battery so I replaced the inverter, the fan also disconnected the aftermarket charger piece of junk from Maxx volt and I never had the issue again for almost 2 years
@@MikePiescoI'm sorry , I didn't replace the inverter, I thought I would have to replaced but what I did replaced was the PCM in the hybrid compartment. My guess is the aftermarket charger from Maxx volt damage the PCM and that's why the fan was acting weird and the inverter wasn't charging the 12v battery. By the time I figure this out , I already replaced the fan but also thru away the charger from Maxx volt
@@rafatorres1420rt thanks for the response, I just changed the hybrid battery in my car and don't get the code at night, when it's cooler out. After it was 85* F today is when I get the code with no Air conditioning.

I did the test and my fan work at full blast, is there any way that the fan will be bad even when the test show full blast?

@@MikePiesco I would start with the PCM , although is a big trouble shooting in the service manual , I did all that before replace the PCM ,
