@@theridewithlance thank you, I will try to go this weekend, I was at los gatos creek trail this last Sunday but it was so crowded, I'm looking for something like those on your videos, thank you again.
I really want to change out my handle bars on my step thru. I got the type of bars from your video but I’m not sure if I’d have to take it to a bike shop or try and tackle it myself
The hardest part is removing the grips. Everything else you can just loosen and slide of the bars. Its a good idea to take a picture of where everything is located on the bars before you remove stuff so you can put things back in the right order and positions.
@@theridewithlance Good point, that was a big part of my concern were the grips they shouldn’t be glued any tips on removing them or like the old days start twisting turning and pulling
What I do is get a thin flat head screw driver, slide it in between the grip and bar, lift it up enough to squirt a little WD40 in and then just twist the grip. Usually slides off pretty easy. Make sure you clean off any excessive WD40 before reinstalling, both on the bar and inside the grip.
Isn't there an issue with the foot hitting the front tire when turning in certain pedal and steering positions? Does the 1/2" difference in wheelbase make the high step less prone to this issue?
Only if you don't ride with the ball of you foot on the pedal. Removing the front fender helps to. I ride on the ball of my foot and have not had a problem.
Got it. Assuming foot position is not ideal meaning pedaling with the mid foot, does the half inch difference in wheelbase help with the issue? Thanks.

Love the scenery, great vid Lance
Thank you.
Nice ride and comparison, both very capable
Thank you. Can't go wrong with either one.
Great comparison, love those trails, what trails are those on the
high-step video?
Thank you. They are trails right next to the side of the Alamitos Creek Trail in San Jose.

What about the wobble issue on the step through models?
I fixed my wobble issue by removing the cargo bins and rack.
@@theridewithlance were you able to use the high step with the rack with weight without any wobble issues?
