- With soaring prices, the Orlando Outlet stores are not the bargains they once were. We take you to the shops the locals frequent to get deals on nonfood shopping goods.
In this vlog we take you to Posner Park a retail village in Davenport Florida. We take you into several the stores to show you the deals you can get on designer and brand clothing on your next visit to Orlando.
These stores include Marshalls, Burlington, Home Goods, Ross, Hobby lobby and JC Penney.
After our shopping spree we continue our Fish and Chip Challenge at "The Chippy" in Davenport which comes with great recommendations, unfortunately we do not agree.

The irony……that this just popped up, we were here just this afternoon. Decided on a ‘rest’ day. Good job seeing as it’s rained most of the day. Only went in Target to see what cheap Disney stuff we could find for the grandchildren.

As you and Max commented they were very lax in clearing overflowing trash cans at Posner Park, we will see if it has improved when we come back in September. A family backed their car out next to ours last December and left a very dirty nappy (diaper) on the ground as they left YUK! Also at that time the amount of trash along the 192 median from the 27 back to Westside Bvd. was the worst we had ever seen in the Kissimmee area.

Great video. We plan on visiting Posner on our next trip so thanks for providing a flavour of the stores. I have to admit, the fish at the chippy didn’t look too appetising but then again we take good fish & chips for granted here in the U.K. All in all, another really good vlog, thank you.

Imagine my shock/horror when we returned to Orlando in November last year to find that the VF Outlet at Lake Buena Vista Stores had closed. I have shopped there since 1994. Nothing had replaced it as yet. Posner is our local outlet park and it is getting better.
Our local shopping area, only 10 mins drive, only use buena vista for Tommy
Getting excited now. 2 more weeks and we'll be there

I love hobby lobby mainly because I'm a paper crafter. I always buy too much when in Orlando 😂😂😂. I like Bath and body now too 😂.

Agree with the comments, Marshall’s looks like the US equivalent of TK MAX, some bargains to be had, interesting the outlets are to rich for the locals. Love these vlogs, real insight into American life, great couple, keep up the good work.

We visited Posner Park a few years ago, certainly looks as though it has changed a lot since we last visited. Interesting to hear that the outlet village is no longer as cheap as it used to be. Perhaps on our next visit we will avoid and go to Posner park instead. Great video guys, thanks for sharing.

I think the word you’re looking for Baz is ‘tat’ 😂 Seeing some of that stuff (and here in the U.K. too), it does make me wonder who green lights it for manufacture in the first place. I’d love to be a fly on the wall in those brainstorming meetings. And don’t get me started on scented candles 😂

You're around the corner from me in Champions Gate. Posner Park has grown so much! I-4 is so crazy. I avoid it. 27 is the better alternative for going to places you need here.
All the stores in America seem to be on a vast scale. Shame they look almost desserted!
It must be quite demanding to negotiate these stores because of their size, you could get lost for days inside one of them! Great vlog. Thanks for taking us with you whilst you both shopped about x

Another great vlog, I noticed one of the stores sells Vegemite, me being an Aussie we lived on it, best on well cooked toast and smothered with it.
Nope sorry, Vegimite or Marmite are banned in this house. Now if you are talking a bottle of Tooheys , that I can make an exception for.

The days of bargains in the USA are dwindling, remembering when I first started coming across to Florida in the late 80s things were so cheap (everything was ) unfortunately not anymore 😞 we very rarely go to the outlets they are so expensive makes more sense to go to the Florida mall. Great video by the way we always love seeing the different shopping areas outside of the tourist trap. 👍Phil&Ian.

Our mall was dying a few years ago because they opened a new mall and Amazon. If you go there today there are more people in there than when the whole mall was there. Some of the stores are supposed to come back, some have. That new mall feeling wore off and people are coming back. Some people want to actually see the stuff first and are tired of mailing things back. What’s funny is Amazon is supposed to open there store near here. Enjoying your vlogs.

@@ThemeParkBazza definitely totally agree with you no point in telling porkies you’ve got to call it like it is . The thing that stuck out for me was the chips you said there was something no right about them yet in MacMaster’s vlog they made a point in saying how they make their own chips from scratch and it showed you the owner cleaning them and cutting them using a machine he even said the potato’s where a special type that he uses . Must try harder then Bazza 👍🏻

There is one store in Winter Park, the only one in Orlando I think.
Sorry, we know the people who own this "British" Chippie and we were not overly impressed either, the batter on our fish was crispy on the top and soggy on the bottom, the chips as you said, not good. In our humble opinion the best Fish and Chips in the Orlando area are to be found at "Cooks of Dublin" at Disney Springs.
So, compare against the Fish and Chips at Yeomans of Margaritaville?
Tried Yeoman’s it was OK not outstanding . Max loves Cooks of Dublin, we took our son there last week. I do like “the fish and Chip shop” in Championsgate
First question. MARSHALLS TEMINDS ME OF TK Max. I thought in USA it was TJ Max, but this seems very similar am I correct Mrs Bazza?
Second question. Sales tax how do you work it out. It depends what county you are in doesn't it?
Mrs Bazza here 😁 Marshalls and TJ max are part of the same company. It is TJ Maxx in the Us and TK Maxx in UK, again same company. They also own Home Goods and Sierra Trading Post.
Florida has a state tax of 6% plus county levels of government can collect a local tax of up to 1.5%

I have to agree with you on the fish and chips. I watched the vlogger who said it was the best fish n chips in America and his looked far better than yours did. Your chips looked undercooked and the fish needed a lot more batter on it. I can understand why you were disappointed
