The Aldi on the 192 across from the Walmart at Bass Rd. in Kissimmee is much more like the UK style of Aldi shop. I think we will be visiting this store when we come back in September.
Well guys, that Lamb Dinner that you both tucked into at Friars Tuck, looked absolutely 100% out of this world (wish I could have put my hand through the mobile screen and helped myself to a couple of bits of everything). Yum Yum 😋 x
I remember you saying you was going to Aldi another great store I also liked the Walmart store! Wow your lunch looks delicious 😋 a big plate full I could eat that now!!!!
Friar Tuck's looked delicious! Loved seeing Aldi too - there is something about looking round supermarkets in other countries 🤣 can't wait to get over in August!
Really like your shopping vlogs, especially when you compare it to the UK. More interesting than a standard shopping haul vlog. Perfect watch on an evening. FAB tee shirt Mr Bazza.
Hiya Bazza and Mrs Bazza Pikelets are similar to crumpets, but they are made from an unsweetened batter of water or milk, flour, and yeast, and come from uk very popular back in my wee town of Scotland 🏴 great vlog
Hello from Indiana! My wife and I love your channel - we discovered it through the Lodge Guys! We lived in Bristol UK for almost 2 years for work before the pandemic, so we love the British side of things that you and the Lodges bring to your channels :). Seeing your and Max's life in Orlando is a blast. We also enjoy vacationing in Florida and will be in Orlando in September for our 1 year-old's first Disney visit! Maybe we will see you at Aldi or Walmart LOL. Our AirBnB is in Kissimmee near Medieval Times, then we'll be at Old Key West for a bit, as well. Cheers!
Hi, pike let's is crumpets in UK 6 for 35p@morrisons put them in toaster or under grill, nice buttered, with cheese or jam. I thought aldi was massive compared to UK. Pity you don't like broccoli, very good for you, I love homemade brocoli & Stilton soup, or straight steamed broccoli in microwave, lovely jubbly. BIG A from Leeds, ps what was football match in background from restaurant.
Thank you Bazza and Max, Good call on Aldi .We are in Sarasota for 3 weeks did big shop there instead of Walmart saved plenty of dollars and decent stuff and nice shop. Came through Melbourne Airport which was pretty good . Suitcases a bit slow but Passport control super quick.
Payslips are a cross between scotch pancakes and crumpets are you toast in the toaster put butter and jam on And eat them whilst they are hot they are delicious
Hi Bazza ‘s , watch all your vlogs, keep up the good work, we are now in your neck of the woods, all the way from Portsmouth uk, on hols for 3 weeks in Haines x
Yum that roast looked delicious 😋 Aldi looks really different from the ones here, defo different products. I pop in ours for milk and bread and come out with my arms full 😆 It sells everything I never knew I needed 😆 xx
That was so fun to watch, I shop at Aldi in Australia all the time, they look very similar, Max was right about the meat section, soooooo much cheaper than any other major supermarkets here, the alcohol also very cheap, most foods & booze come from European countries in our stores, Germany ,Denmark, that kind of thing, we get some amazing gins from the UK, lol, thank you for letting us watch you shop, loved it, xx
Entertaining as ever but surprised you are not familiar with a pikelet. Flat crumpet is the easiest way to describe it and some good cheddar , Hendersons Yorkshire relish and you have a gourmet welsh rarebit…. Loved the English place. As an expat now in Malta it’s amazing what we look for in shops ….. Jackson’s bread. Wow. Cheered us up. Due to fly tomorrow to Orlando but both tested positive for Covid as we packed the cases. Bugger. Have to wait til September to give it another go
Im in the UK and our Aldi is pretty new and got a nicer vibe to it then some. Its surprising how quiet it is compared to that other supermarket you vlogged last Sunday. We have a new aldi and a new m&s on our housing estate and and a coop and we choose aldi for most produce we get you really can buy most things in them now.
I’m more a Lidl person as my wife works there. I’d say the isles of boxes look like Aldi and Lidl from the nineties in U.K. But the fresh and frozen looks pretty similar. The lunch looked great.
Only just found u guys after wanting to see melbourne airport as we are coming for first time ever next month with tui, and im really loving seeing the supermarkets and the price ranges 😁
I’m from the uk 🇬🇧 and my Aldi is small compared to your store 🏬 in the USA 🇺🇸 and our store is always busy especially on a Saturday but it’s gone very expensive so I do most of my shopping at Asda (Walmart)
Interesting to look around an Aldi over there!! Not quite so much random stuff in the middle isles??? Which our aldis seem to get more of and less food these days 🤣 Love your vlogs guys 🥰
Sunday lunch looked delicious. Surprised with you being a Northerner not knowing what 'Pikelets' are 😮 You have surprised me Bazza. Aldi looks so different to the ones over here. Great to catch up with you both, thanks for sharing. Stay safe and well.
Lamb Roast looked delicious one of my favourites, isn't it strange how time changes I don't know if it was the same where you come from, but we only ever had Yorkshire Puds when we had a Beef Roast, but today it's served with all the different roasts .
Growing up in Coventry, pikelet was the usual term for a crumpet. It seems to now be applied more widely to thinner versions of crumpets. The name comes originally from Wales: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crumpet BTW, we found the Aldi trip really interesting as we are coming over in a few weeks and thought we’d give Aldi a go this trip seeing as we’re weekly shoppers here in UK (we pensioners like a good bargain😉)
Hi Mr and Mrs Bazza. New ish subscriber here. I new about you from watching the lodge guys but recently checked out your channel. I must say that I really enjoy watching your vlogs. I especially enjoy watching your home vlogs and taking us around the local area. A big thank you for all your time and effort with producing the vlogs. Is there any chance you could do a review on a golden corral on I drive? It's been a while since I have been on I drive probably over 10 years. I am going over there in November and would love to see if golden corral is still good value. I appreciate they are not fine dining but I must say that I really enjoyed them for what they were. One again. Thanks for your time on the vlogs. Lee from London, England.
Since moving to Florida a couple of months ago I've found I prefer shopping in Aldi to Walmart, I think it has a better selection of cheese and meats. I need to go now to friar tucks. It's just around the corner from me but yet to visit but after seeing that roast I think ill have to go and especially if they have bread.
Love roast lamb but love it with mint jelly nice and sweet at the moment Aldi in uk are doing lots of dupes the one I love is a dupe of sanctuary spar bath float £12 in boots £1.75 in aldi I can’t tell the difference.
Yum that food looks great. What's that on her left hand. Is that a tattoo ? I like Aldi only for a few bits. The meat is good there. . I wish they had a brit store on the west side of Florida. I'd go there...

@ThemeParkBazza God love you Mrs Bazza for the "it's not Aunt Bessie's". Frozen Yorkshire's won't fly well, and I don't know how our dried mix cooks out, but I can try and bring you some in August if you would like?
Wondered if you would consider doing a blog/review of the Japanese restaurant just by idrive called Gyu-Kaku. Thinking of booking a table for an upcoming holiday and wondered what you and Maxine thought of it. Thanks

I can remember the match to be honest , we recorded that 6 weeks ago. Think it was a European play off match

Aldi shop good value in States back here in UK prices creeping up with soaring inflation 😢 thanks for sharing xx♥️
I'm glad I spotted blue milk was 2% - what colour for whole milk or semi skimmed ?
It differs depending on the supermarket really

Definetly some good value products
That is a big roast dinner and enormous Yorkshire pudding. I love the devils food
Ohhh I want a Sunday roast! Y’all’s Aldi is much nicer then mine 🥲
It's a new one, that may be why
I don’t think I knew you had ALDI in America! 👍🏻👍🏻

You where right a piklet is essentially a flat crumpet, they are really nice, surprised you haven’t come across them before.
Nope new to us
That dinner looks so good!
It was Margaret
I think a pikelet is a type of pancake which is slightly thicker than an American pancake and is a cross between a drop scone and a crumpet..
Now that’s a roast! Yorkies, mint sauce and sprouts! Perfect. Love to try their food one day! Aldi looked very warehouse, like a cash and carry. 🤷🏼♂️
We looked at the one near our villa and it didn’t have such a good selection of fresh food as the Publix we use in Celebration.
Interesting to look around an Aldi over there!! Not quite so much random stuff in the middle isles??? Which our aldis seem to get more of and less food these days 🤣

Hi, I'm surprised they new what a Yorkshire pudding was! LOL.
The plane is owned and run by Brits
I love piklets they are basically flat crumpets I have them toasted with butter and strawberry jam yummmmy x
Picklets are what us midlanders call crumpets! 😁
Lamb Roast looked delicious one of my favourites, isn't it strange how time changes I don't know if it was the same where you come from, but we only ever had Yorkshire Puds when we had a Beef Roast, but today it's served with all the different roasts .

Aye up… Sunday roast with English footy on… sounds perfect 👍
Felt like the UK
Did the workers at Aldi throw the shopping at you going through the check out like they do in the UK?
Well they are as fast 😀

That Aldi looks lovely - much better than our UK ones 😄 Will I need change for trolleys in Publix/Walmart ?
No Aldi is the only place you pay for trolleys or bags
I live in West Midlands. Pikelets are crumpets 😄👍🏻
Love roast lamb but love it with mint jelly nice and sweet at the moment Aldi in uk are doing lots of dupes the one I love is a dupe of sanctuary spar bath float £12 in boots £1.75 in aldi I can’t tell the difference.

Will do Cheers
Unfortunately your Vlog was broken up when you audited it guys Xx
Might be your device , we film in 4K , if you set your device to 1080P as a lower resolution it may fix it for you
Great video. Have you tried the salmon or lamb from Aldi yet?
Salmon was very good, we have not tried the lamb yet
Need to go back to friar tucks and get that Sunday roast. Could just eat a yorkie pud now
Next time ❤️
Pikelets are flat crumpets. Less moist & stodgy than crumpets but you have to be careful toasting them, they burn quite easily.
Pikelets is just another name for crumpets
Is Aldi membership shopping or just a normal supermarket?
Just normal supermarket
Yeah great vlog all Aldi in UK now are new layout, we're going next year to Florida is Publix good price for shopping?
Think of Publix like Sainsbury pricing vs Asda
Nice we just moved to Orlando from Wigan, been here about 4 months didn’t know about friar tuck well check it out thanks!
We lived in Wigan for 6 years :-)

Can you buy smaller cartons of milk? Thanks
Yes you can get one pint as the smallest I think
Broccoli, cauliflower and sprouts are all the devil's food's lol. You're Aldi is definitely better than ours over here, even ya middle aisle stuff 😀

Yes
