    Respect for buying it herself. Sometimes if you want to win you need the best equipment, not the most free equipment lol. Best of luck for the season Nikki

    Great video, good to here her comments and reasons for having the various bits of kit. Not necessarily because its from a sponsor. Good on her for buying what she needs not whats she's given by the sponsors.

    Mark knows his bikes/tri gear and is a fine interviewer-kudos!

    I love hearing from people so in touch with their gear. Is her seatpost adjusted down because it came out of transport? I just looks so low compared to her leg length, I know it's impossible to really gauge and those crank arms are kinda long which does bring the saddle down. Great interview, she should paint those red stripes on her bike blue... to match her kit :)

    The Cervelo P5 6 remains one of the fastest bikes ever made. No disc brakes!

    Hi guys! I’d like to know what is the equipment that you bring to a race, the bike equipment. What do you bring to the race and what do you race with. Thank you so much!

    @Globaltriathlonnetwork I am a Clydesdale athlete, I was wondering if you could help the larger guys out. Cervelo states on their website that the max weight is 100kg, well I weight 105kg, I’m just wondering if it’s safe to ride, and if it is, what wheels might help make it safer, I’m most likely sticking with aluminum +carbon for the price and the strength. Can you help us bigger guys please?

    but why is nobody using the vittoria corsa speed TLR open tubular? Saves right about 4 watts per tire if set up tubeless and at least 2-3 watts with latex tubes.
    And why do so many triathletes still use 2x11 drivetrains? how often do they use the inner ring? so much turbulance in the bottombraket area. also, why not go for a 12-25t cassette? You have such a ridicilously tight spaced cassette for getting the perfect cadence and your chainline is probably better as well.
    if you can afford a ceramic speed OSPW you can also get faster tires or do your rearch
    im not hating on her, nor am i experienced, im just very surprised.

      She may have some hilly races on her calendar where she needs the inner ring.

      She may have, but it is rarely the case that they spend a lot of time climbing. Except for some special triathlons with mountains

    One of the biggest nightmares for mechanics. One of the most overrated TT bike and partly reay badly engineered

      is it the hydraulic tubes running through the bar?

    • @pope406
      @pope406 6 років тому +1

      yup, if they haven´t changed it. later The mark 1 also had spacers that didn´t split. So you had to take the whole thing apart to change the height of the bar. That meant also to take the hydraukics apart.

      must be why the P5X has TRP HY-RD mechanical actuated hydraulic disks
