Maybe you could tell us what is proprietary? Why it's less adjustable? What makes it faster/slower? What the actual differences are (they look pretty much the same). You guys are better than this.
I dont think it's has strange has it's just that we believe and assume they are providing a better option for the long distance triathletes that want to carry as much fluid as possible without having a built-in mega tube :) In the end Aero bottles only hold so much and companies are making larger water bottles that fit in the genetic bottle cage that many athletes are moving towards.

The cabling at the back of the P series cockpit is a total birds nest. Disappointing.
Yea it is what it is with Shimano at the moment. Although I'm sure I could have made it a little less messy.
Are the seat clamps of the p5 compatible with oval shaped 7 x 9 saddles?
