So someone telling you to practice helped?!!! This makes no sense, you can literally get better at anything by practicing. I want to know HOW TO HIT without spending wasted time in practice mode. This game should make hitting much easier, get rid of practice, who buys a game to sit in practice mode?!

@@christianbourdon5484 Might just switch back to classic mode batting. Its the PCI thats the issue. I swear the CPU puts it wherever it wants. Popping up perfect pitches, missing perfect pitches, etc. No MLB batter is missing a perfect pitch. The game needs to be realistic. If I have a 99 rated player vs a weak pitcher, the chance of an out should be almost NIL. Also a HUGE issue with the amount of pitches thrown out of the zone. In a full game the pitcher rarely tosses a strike, unless you decide to take a pitch. Then its just a melon, go figure. Anyhow to answer your statement, I bought the game to play baseball, not to play PRACTICE mode to improve on some PCI deal?!

Just wanted to say: I tried the tip you gave on removing the inner PCI and just doing reverb on the outside.
My hitting is way better. It’s true - I was focusing too much on getting the pci center too square on the ball and missing pitches.
I won 4 games today which is more than I’ve ever won in 1 day 😂
I really struggle with hitting. I’ve used the practice stadium plenty but never tried moving around the PCI while waiting for the pitch. Watched your video and completed one of the Topps moments quickly. Much appreciated man. Keep up the content!
Aye bro I’ve watched all hitting tips just trying to take little things and incorporate them into my game... I’ve watched all the bigger youtubers.. and I’m not even kidding, yours has been the most help. Let’s be honest, you really can’t show people how to hit better.. it ultimately comes down to hand eye coordination.. but I feel you get the closest to steering people in the right direction. Bro, this vid helped me so much on legend. I’m 31-6 and in World Series but my first game on legend I struck out 18 times. That reverbs thing helped me take my mind off pci placement and just timing and reaction. Thanks br

Just have to say thank you I tried your pre pitch movements and it helped my timing so much got 11 hits and scored seven runs in my first game trying it walked it off after being down 6-1 in the bottom of the 3rd!!

A bit late on the video but this helped me so much! Still working through the issue of pulling my PCI down when the ball is hanging over the plate but I’ve gotten a lot better at hitting off-speed and mashing fastballs. Pumped my BA huge!!

The changing of the PCI's outer to reverb ( I use Outline) without anything and pre-pitch prep is the most clutch advice I have seen on UA-cam thus far. Been combining some of your advice with DudeFoodGaming's concepts. I have actually been doing excellently since this adjustment. I can read the Legend pitches much better.

Because so many people drop their pci pre swing sitting up slightly like you recommended is great advice. My number one issue right now is switching from sinker or 4sfb to cutter.

Every time i try to use PCI, it seems impossible to get my swing timing down the right way, so i always take it off and just hit the classic way but I've noticed people who use it always get more hits than me. After watching this video i think i will start using it all the time, i like the way you explained everything brother, thanks for this video!

Wow, thanks for the tips. I never new reverb existed, you said if your struggling give it a try. I used altitude, no inner and reverb. Raked in a conquest all star game and got 11 hits my first online game. My online record was 31-44😕 Went 4-1 last night using the new settings.😀 Getting back to back perfect perfects. Never done that. I like the reverb framing the outside of the strike zone and altitude in the center to move around in the zone. Whatever it is thanks, it seems to help alot. Also the circle/circle little movement seems to also keep my hand loose and help with timing. Again, thanks for your help. 👍

Great video! Ngl first year playing and I switched my PCI just to the marker . Just helps me see plate better. I’ve definitely improved hitting wise as well on all-star. FBs are kicking my ass though

Definitely gonna try this out today man. I’m 46-47 in ranked, most of my losses coming from losing 1 run games 😭 striking them out 15 times but I can’t hit to save my life sometimes. Now I’m in BR 3-0 since using your method. Definitely focused on it so the reverb has been legendary! trying to get lucky on a pack so I can finish this NL east and get Soriano. Definitely gained a new sub 🤟🏾

That reverb outer zone tip has helped me by 1000%
sometimes when i’m not hitting well i go into rtts on easy mode just to crank a fee homers to get the confidence back and take the nerves off. when you’re trying to crank every pitch out in frustration it’s nice to get a few easy ones out just to relax a bit

Watched this video -> went back to my hall of fame difficulty franchise that I was slumping in -> 7 runs by the 5th inning (still no outs lol)
Here’s what helped:
1) the circling to stay loose
2) PCI = diamonds in center AND NOTHING ELSE (set inner and outer to NONE)
The result is that each batter feels ‘equal’ in the sense your not discouraged by seeing a smaller circle. Players like Byron button now have as big of a circle as Joey Wendle (against righty’s of course)

Thanks for the video man! Super helpful! Quick question for ya - so I’m playing on the PS4 and I’ve noticed that the sound effects are super muted. For example when I get a perfect perfect instead of hearing the loud crack of the bat it’s just a very quite hit.
Secondly, I’ve noticed that the new fielding feature “route to ball” isn’t an option in my settings...are these things only available on ps5?

I needed this because for some reason I don’t move my PCI to high pitches. I instinctively drop it. So I noticed when I move PCI around before pitch it does help

My problem is I just cant recognise the pitches and I just swing at everything like its a fastball as well as bad PCI placement. It probably doesn't help that I'm from England and have never watched a baseball game in my life 😂, got this game because it is free on gamepass but it has turned me into a fan. Thanks for the tips I'm gonna try them especially the reverb one.
Hey, it’s tough man this is my first year playing. Use the practice mode he was using and pick the zones and pitches you have trouble with. The more practice you get the better you will do. I’ve been playing a ton of offline to practice my timing and pci placement and it’s helped.
Also taking pitches is key. Being ahead in the count you can lean on fastballs in good areas. Researching the game itself always helps too. Try different hitting views. I started hitting on directional, and it helped me get my timing down a bit, but I was swinging and missing a lot with that. With zone, I try to pick an are in the strike zone, and only hit pitches in that area. I take some good pitches and still swing at bad stuff, but it’s helped!
I’ve been using pure analog because I’m absolute ass at using the PCI. I’m either on or off. I get 10 hits a game or 0. Can’t wait to try this out. I hope to god it works for me

Did this and immediately saw results I skunked a guy 6-0 in 6 innings and made him quit.. I hardly found myself swinging early which was normally my problem. The timing thing really helps.
