This place has been totally demolished and doesn't exist anymore. As of June 2024, the place is now a construction site where high rise apartments are being built.
Different side of 🇰🇷 that people don’t see or at times hear on local news or radio pod casts to shon they talk about or something happens. Just thought that the city needs to get there garage trucks 🚛 with help of local high school or college students to clean those areas up. Then they can go to their places on the weekends. If you do a at night be careful of local gangs there. Saw at the end ATV 4-wheelers are allowed to drive in those areas. 👍📸🇰🇷
The people who lived in these type of districts usually find somewhere else to live right? It must be really sad to have to leave the place you lived for a long time
@@SeoulStroll I think that they are taking from NYC and using something along the lines of a now "banned" all called imminent domain to condemn viable neighborhoods to make way for large building (projects). I suspect there is a lot of Western tactics being used to transform South Korea. I soon expect English will be the official second language.
Now feelin' so ready... Just remember to put on them plastic white gloves on first. They get so easily dirty, it's unbelievable. Oh yeah..is there pickle cucumber in your community?

Yeah, I get they have a somehow long notice to give them plenty of time to relocate.
All red litgh districts in Korea are in ruins? You don't have something like kabukicho in Japan or even dongguang in China?
That's really sad... where did all the people who were there go? I hope they're well. Besides CoVID-19 the suicide rate in South Korea doubled.
Those districts are being demolished one by one. I think there are 2 big ones remaining in Seoul, but for how long?
