- Hi Friend and welcome back to Seoul Stroll! This weekend I felt like giving the good ol' Yongsan Game Alley a final visit before it fades into history. The building is set to be demolished sometime soon (don't know the exact date). Thankfully, most of the sellers will relocate in the other building behind where you have the cinema on the 3rd floor. Most of the sellers already moved to that place. So join me as we slowly walk one last time in what used to be the mecca of video games in Korea.

This is incredibly depressing. Lives right around the corner from there for 2 years, a lot of good memories there. :(
At least the sellers are relocating not too far behind that building. Went to the new spot and it looks way better. Might even do a video later on.

@@itzbeanzzz they moved to the Cinema building right behind. On the 4th floor (same as the cinema). But if you want toncheck for games I highly recommend checking out Nambu (Kukje Electronic Market) instead. Better prices, friendlier service.

This is pretty extremely depressing. Really wish I got to see this place before it shuts down. Would’ve loved to get some Korean consoles.
You don’t miss much honestly. It is much better to go shop at Nambu’s Kukje Electronic Market, you got 10x the choice, sellers are friendlier and there actually many customers there.

Flashback 80’s gaming at local mall’s then Atari gaming console At Sears had all the good games to. Went to garage sale 😩. Did they have a moving sale? Are you back for fall winter season coming up or off and on videos when you can do them. Would like to see a a video during local highs school in 🇰🇷 . 👍📸🇰🇷
I'm doing videos now on an irregular basis whenever I'm in Seoul. These days it's just way too hot during the day to film anywhere.
The stores didn't have any sales. As mentioned in the description, they are moving to the building right behind.
Right now, for schools I think everyone is going back to class this Fall, no more online Zoom sessions. However, filming students/kids/schools in Korea is a big no no.

Just go to Kukje Electronic Market in Nambu station. It’s 10x better than Yongsan anyway. There’s only scammers left there.
