I just purchased a ECHO Ion-XL 7100-4 10' #7 fly rod. when I opened it up I was disappointed to find a made in china sticker on the rod. Before my purchase I went to your website and read the "Who we are (about ECHO)" section. It was misleading in that it made it seam as if the product was American made.
I feel misled and will post my experience on sportsman's sites and blogs. I hope in the future you make it clear to possible customers that they are buying a foreign made product. I would return the product but the seller does not accept returns. Also, the life time warranty is extremely limited.

Only one company makes rods in the Us, St Croix ... Is the rod any good is the question ?

I think the principal of skagit heads is good the down side is the loop to loop join between shooting line and head this in my humble opinion will cause excess where on the rod rings why not stick to different density leaders in verying lengths
