Adam Sandler as an old tuatara passing down wisdom to the kids and learning some things himself is actually pretty wholesome and endearing. Also, the banter between Leo and Squirtle is golden
Way better than you'd guess.
Umm actually he is an Iguana!
@@fangirldreamer748 No, that's what I thought at first too, but they clearly state in the film that he's a tuatara.
@@DanGamingFan2406
People were suspecting in the film the parents being confidently wrong in the film due to the fact florida has invasive iguana there that inhabits the area.
And tuarta being endangered species no way they can be pets
You think your safe commenting this‼⁉🙅♂Better keep your Butt Cheeks 🍑 closed❌ cus I'm coming for you‼@@fangirldreamer748
The fact this came out the same weekend as Wish and turned out to be the better film overall is such a one-two punch to Disney.
The Drone was the best bit in the entirety of this film. And boy, they handled the whole "liar revealed" thing nicely, they didn't turn it into a major third act. Sure the kids are upset but they're NOT that overdramatically upset.
I was busting out laughing at the kindergartners with the big eyes and noises 😂 hilarious
@@justsomeguywithnomustache6245 😂 fr. I couldn't stop laughing
Honestly, Adam Sandler’s live-action comedies may not be getting the same amount of love these days from critics and audiences like his classic ones from the 90s and 2000s, yet he proved to still be a huge sell for animated voice roles! Leo is one of them!
Dracula was a good role for him too
STOP SKIPPING PARTS IN THE MOIVIE!WACTH THE FULL MOVIE
@@Rosemary123cute Maybe you don’t know how this works, but this is a reaction channel. They’re meant to skip many parts to avoid copyright issues.
I always love Adam Sandler and his kids' movies more than his adult movies. ❤ This movie was so great! I can't believe this movie has actually been beating out Disney's 'Wish' in popularity lately! This movie has a lot of great lessons for kids; they can learn about the struggles of growing up. Adam Sandler's kids' movies can always be very heartfelt and genuine; that's what I love about them! I love how he tackles subject matters that many others don't bring up. This was just a really genuine, heartfelt movie with a lot of good life lessons for kids.
Bedtime stories is a classic of my household back in the day
Ring ring ring ring RRIIAAAA
@@senritsujumpsuit6021 absolutely I love bedtime stories ❤️ he really needs to stick to making more Children's movies
This movie is better than the most recent one that Disney released
It’s miles ahead
This movie was really cute and heartfelt. The singing was nice too. And I laughed quite a few times. Especially at the guy missing fingers 😂
Bro I wasn’t expecting this movie to be this good, it was very wholesome. Def showing my future kids this movie
“I’ll tell you but theres kids around. I was talking about his tail!” LMAO!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Fun fact Adam Sandler two daughters are playing the two Students summer and jayda
Did you know?
Turtles and Tortoises cannot be without their shells because it IS apart of their bodies, it would be like taking off your skin and bones as a whole.
Those shells are connected to nerve ending and they can feel any touch on their shells as well, or pain if they are scratched or damaged!
And lastly, All tortoises are turtles but not all turtles are tortoises! What's the difference? Tortoises cannot swim, turtles have a semi-aquatic or a majority aquatic lifestyle whereas tortoises are solely terrestrial.
:)
Thats cool :O
This was a good Netflix film imo. It’s charming, fun and I like Adam Sandler’s character as well.
They're depicting kids with rich parents, showing how money doesn't buy u happiness basically, them kids have a bunch entitled parents 😂
I love the kindergartner's character design and behavior, goofy and fun
Everytime Leo does the “Your-DAD-Eh” pose:

When I discovered this movie, I didn't think it would be that funny, and not counting Adam Sandler's involvement, I'm glad you liked it as much as I did❤😊
This movie was such a joy to watch so wholesome and heartfelt and it cool that Adam Sandler had his family voice some of the characters.
Reptile nerd here, Tuataras are not technically lizards, they are actually the sole survivors of a species that lived about 200 million years ago. Their typical lifespan is about 60 years but they can live be 100 with the oldest one to my knowledge is 111.
Thank you for reacting to this movie!
Leo is absolutely hilarious, kids would watch again & again
Two thumbs up 👍🏻 👍🏻
He destroy lego city like godzilla 13:08
This is better than adult AS movies and looks better than Wish. I can't believe how heartwarming this is sometimes. Edit: I like the idea of an old lady redeeming herself. You're never too old!
This movie was phenomenal
15:52 hey can I have that, that would be very useful
Imagine if that movie wins for Best Animated Feature Film
Poor Droonie..I would have still took the celery and ranch. 😢
Fun fact both Adam sandlers daughters voice 2 of the students
Good reaction this was honestly a 10/10 movie it was amazing
the kindergarten kids faces are really weird and creepy😮
YEAH really funny and uniqe
They look like fish 😂😂😂
I have experienced with preschool kids. Don’t think they’re creepy. They’re young, they have energetic and they’re following their steps at the time for next education
@@jonathancruz5932 He's talking about the animation lol not kindergarteners in general
Literally my favorite about the movie
A great musical comedy in my opinion nd since it became a box office hit Adam talked about making a sequel 😄🤞🏻💚🤣🎶. Also Tim to answer your question at 5:40 yes when I was in the 7th grade I had two class pet mice who we're so friendly and cute but then when I reached the 8th grade my teacher had let them go so they can live free and in the wild which made me really sad because it was my first time seeing and petting my favorite kind of animal the Mouse in person but I know now that it was for the best 💕🐁
This was the best movie I watched on Netflix
My classroom pet in 5th grade was exotic fish like clownfish
32:40 is the funniest
I recommend you should check out Disney’s once upon a studio
This is my favorite movie so far
This movie was a great musical
I watch this movie I was surprised. This movie is amazing and funny too
5:41 I have only had class pets twice the first was in 4th grade where we had a betta fish who died a few months later and the janitor got rid of him while everyone was outside the classroom then we replaced the fish who also died in a few months then in my 6th grade science class we had a pet lizard I think other than that I only had pets at home some fish when I was little that I accidentally killed with some pennies then I got a betta fish for my ninth birthday who died within a year and now my sisters have two dogs and the youngest wants a fish
Can someone please explain the E.T reference I never saw that movie before
4 years in the making, i heard Robert Smigel was part creating the movie
I had a great time watching and I actually thought it was sweet how Leo was like a grandpa to these kids
There some few good ones but Adam Sandler’s comedy I think works best in animation
14:42 Well he did has mortal healt problems, so maybe he is right afarid about that
You know, it's the holiday season & Sandler has a 21 years old cartoon called 8 Crazy Nights perfect for the holidays(but not kids though). Why doncha give it a try?
This Movie Was Great!😊
I watch Leo, after that, I opened my phone and this video pops up
Oh my god! I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!
You gotta check out The Benchwarmers (2006) it doesn't star Adam Sandler, but its from Happy Madison Productions.
I love Leo
I don't think the animation is that great compared to say Disney Pixar, but that just proves Pixar problem, people don't care how great the animation is if the story isn't good
This comparison is just annoying like when people get surprised a small studio is not making 500,000 dollars per hour VFX an Artist budget a day who would have thought
There's an Indian epic action-thriller also called Leo from this year, it's an adaptation of A History of Violence by John Wagner. Highly recommend it.
hell yeahhhhhh
Wow you are at 115k subs now! I haven't watched you since last year cause you eventually stopped appearing in my recommendeds
Welcome back here!
4:39 I see Alf on the calendar
You should check out Alf someday
Awwww tim I just saw that movie
That's mostly because everything else sucks so the bar wasn't that high though I still love the film for what it is it's very sweet and wholesome while still being a little funny it's not overly complicated or anything like So yeah for what it is it's a good movie but the only reason it's the best this year is because everything else sucks
Awesome reaction of my favorite Adam Sandler movie!!!!
Bro I just watched the movie 5 minutes ago
The fact that Disney got their butts kicked by Adam Sandler is insane 😅
This movie was great.
Please watch Pixels you guess who Is casting the main character PIXELS
STARRING ADAM SANDLER SO FUNNY
Honestly, better than wish lol
Great comedy movie.

Cool 🎉
It was a good movie minus the singing.
Great
This movie has revealed to me some bias I wasn't completely aware of. I loved it so much until I found out that it was an Adam Sandler movie. Then, I started trying to pick it apart and find reasons to hate it. I'm glad I recognized it because I was being completely unfair. I'll pay more attention to this in the future.

my 4thfavourite Adam Sandler film (3rd grown-ups 2nd grown ups two and number 1 is uncut gems plus please do a reaction to uncut gems and Merry Christmas 😇)
At first I thought this was just one of these mediocre „tryhard“ movies, but the sarcasm sold it to me
6:41 and 27:25-27:26 is such typical Adam Sandler cringe. Blue balls indeed. Some parts of this movie were so awkward and just made me go...huh? I guess it's to be expected though from what's basically an animated Adam Sandler lizard movie.
To be honest...I didn't care for this movie. The music wasn't catchy, the plot was predictable, the story wasn't at all new, and the characters weren't anything special. Plus, and I'm sorry to say this...but I'm not a fan of Adam Sandler's voices - I know they're meant to be funny, but I just find them to be annoying. Though I will admit that the animation was pretty good. The worst parts for me were the kindergartners - they didn't even act (or looked) like kids, and acted like they were possessed or inhuman. Seriously, those "supposed" children were just plainly annoying...and terrifying to look at. Also, the crush Ms. Malkin had on Coach Komura was just pointless, because it had absolutely nothing to do with the story. Why were Ms. Malkin's book covered in dust and spiderwebs? Ms. Malkin trying to teach the kids responsibility while having a dead animal in her bag...very hypocritical. And while it was a musical, and despite the songs being original, I didn't find any of them to be clever or enjoyable. I also noticed that all the songs either sounded incomplete or were cut off - how does that work? The humor was also not that funny to begin with - such as the mean substitute (who used her vacuum for almost everything), there being more than one Cole, the miniature pony riding a zebra, the gross sobbing with the snot coming out, the stereotypical class bully who isn't smart or clever, the kid who always has chip covered hands, the old guy with the sexy wife, the judgemental and self-entitled rich family; among some other things - and what exactly was the point of the living clocks?
I really think it would have been better if this movie took inspirations from "Bluey" - where kids are so much more accurately portrayed. But also focussed a bit more on the problems the kids had, and maybe confronting their parents about them. One example is Eli, because the drone wasn't the real problem, it was his overprotective parents; because they made the drone hover over Eli constantly, so the drone is really just an extension over the parents control over Eli's life. Another thing I would have liked to see was if both Leo and Squirtle got to give advice - Leo could be the settle one, while Squirtle was more direct. And if Leo was advising the kids, maybe Squirtle could do the same for the parents. I mean, having a reptile who doesn't sugarcoat facts and tells the adults their mistakes right to their faces - that is something I would have liked to see. Also, Squirtle could have had a much more clever name. I do kind of see why Mrs. Malkin believes that so many modern kids are being pampered and cuddled, and that doesn't drive them to do better or to change - but you shouldn't go too far where you make the kids miserable. Maybe they could of had both Mrs. Malkin and Mrs. Salinas work together, maybe find some common ground on how to both encourage and discipline the kids. And maybe a cute romance between Eli and Summer could have been nice.
The part where Mrs. Malkin abandoned Leo in The Everglades just felt completely unnecessary. If they were going to do that, why not just have Leo grow so old that during a class reunion, the kids (who are now full grown adults) he guided decide to take him to The Everglades where he sees the beauty of the wild, and at the end, when everybody is resting and enjoying the sunset...Leo peacefully dies in his sleep. His friends are of course heartbroken over this, but they know that while Leo's life wasn't anything grand, he still lived a rather good life, and finally got to see The Everglades on his last day. And this ending may be heartbreaking, but there are times when tragedy can actually help make a movie better - and that's what I think this movie needed. It's pretty sad, because as I watched this I really wanted to like it. But unfortunately it was pretty childish, and there were times when breaking into song just came out of nowhere. Some of the comedy was dumb or gross. I just feel that focussing a bit more on dealing with the issues the kids deal with (and what parents can make their children go through) could have been better.
However, I'm not gonna lie...watching Jayda's Mom do Pilates in that sexy skin tight outfit...I thought of it throughout the rest of the movie. Hey, the creators knew what they were doing. And I for one am not going to apologize for that.
