- The BOSS origin story chronicles how the brand started from a high-performing, hand-loaded shotshell…and an idea. In 2018, BOSS took the market by storm introducing its patented copper plated bismuth with a direct to consumer business model. With a focus on superior performance and best-in-class customer service, this upstart brand with a hometown team from Southwest Michigan emerged as a favorite for upland and waterfowl hunters across the country. BOSS is passionate about conservation and innovation, and their non-toxic shells with lead-like lethality are changing the game for good.
Been a proud BOSS user for the last couple of years and can say they are the best shells I have ever used. This video gives me that much more pride in supporting such a great business that really cares. Thank you BOSS!!
Love BOSS shells, I’ve been shooting them exclusively for 3 years, coming in to the 4th year this coming season. This year I’ll be running the buffered 3/5 shorty for all my ducks and geese. And they are right, I’ve called them and they answer and talk to you.! Thanks everyone at BOSS.! You guys rock.! My hunting buddies are actually going to order some shells this weekend for the upcoming season.
My go-to upland shell. Last week in ND I dropped a Hungarian partridge at 45-50yds with 20 ga 2.75" #7 through a cylinder choke. Couldn't believe it. Burning through a case of other loads in my 12 ga, then switching to Boss 20 ga for everything.
Tyler is my former neighbor and bought my home after i moved. So Also the manual shell reloader at the 2:22 mark. my dad has had that exact same machine since the early 1970's. They are great. and your product is a great shell
Been a huge believer since day 1 of using them, Thank you Brandon and Team for doing what you do. Capt Charlie Summerville Aleutian Island Waterfowlers-Alaska
Boss Shotshells are truly the best. They eliminated cripples for me. It is really nice to see how this company is run! God bless you all!
Awesome story! Super proud of what y’all stand for! I expect Southeast Arkansas to be covered in BOSS shells!
I shot 3" 3/5s last year and love them. Will differently be getting some more and maybe some 20 ga. as well. Keep up the great work.
this is my 2nd season shooting BOSS, i started with 3” 4s but have changed to the good ol’ 2 3/4” 5s. LOVE THEM
Boss is my go to upland shell, local company to me need to stop by the shop one day.
I love right inn miles Michigan.. going to make a switch and try these shells.. I'm glade I found this video
Okay Boss... you've got a new disciple is WA... will share my shells with the group and spread the word... keep it in the family and community, don't sell!
I think it's great that these folks are building what sounds like a good business with good quality control. I'm not second-guessing everyone's opinion. That being said with the price of shells nowadays it should be in everyone's best interest to find something dependable and affordable. I have done several pattern an distance comparisons with choke size along with the load difference. With several different brands. I believe the Bismuth is a better shot load. For distance. But for the cost and the comparisons I've done it's not worth my money to invest in. When it comes to shooting birds I believe your best weapon is patience and shot selection. It seems to me people are wanting to take longer shots for some reason. Good luck to boss!
Goes bang out of my Retay 12 every time. Looking at exploring the subs gauges next year. Boss hammers birds.
Got the new War Chiefs 3’ 3/5s and I cannot wait for waterfowl season here in TX!
🦆💥🪶
Great video guys!
I’m been having trouble with miss fire. I have cleaned the gun and still with mine and my sons.
I won’t use any other shells. BOSS is the way to go.
Hands down best shells ever crimped in the USA
Do you have any plans of creating a .410 load that can be shot out of autoloaders? I bought some from you guys 4 years ago and the brass would tear off the casing, I guess they weren’t designed for autoloaders. Love these shells for my 20 gauge.
If you look on their website it says they are working on fixing that exact problem
I visited the shop this past summer and I recommend everyone visiting it if you can.
This will be my 4th year shooting Boss. I always get hounded by the "Winchester Xpert guys" saying they shoot the same amount of birds, for way less money, blah blah blah. I just laugh and tell them it isn't just about that. I need business cards with this youtube link on them so I can show them why.
wish i could work with you guys
Will you be loading 2.75 heavy loads in the near future? I would buy some, especially for squirrels. Tell Tupelo Mississippi that I said hello. We don't know each other, but we're in the same business. Thanks, Thomas, Oxford Mississippi.
I tried calling 4 times and also sent an email with no response.
Be me.
Watch video.
Mumble something smart about 2 dollar a round duck flak.
Head to Ammoseek.
12 gauge *seek!*
Refine search, scan brand dropdown.

Here we go!

None found, price per round: *none*
Nice.
They might be good shells but don't be fooled on their price. There's only 20 rounds compared to 25 with other brands
You won’t need the other 5. They Kill!
When I ran a $ per shell comparison... there wasn't a comparison: I bought BOSS and it worked! Its all I'm going to buy for waterfowl from now on.
