10 chapter is where godlike lore begins, can't wait for it
Becoming a "Herrcher" is normally against your will and wipes your mind and personality, tying you to "the will of the Honkai"; almost like a ant hivemind. That's why they didn't blame Wendy for what she did and the reason why "they" are trying to "take control of the power of a Herrcher". As for Theresa Apokalypse, she's age 44 at that part of the story. Nothing she can do about her surname for being a creation of Otto Apokalypse who also treats her as his granddaughter, but at least she is against his methods and decided to become a caring principal instead. That's as surface level information as I can go; but yeah, Mei over Wendy, who ya barely get to know, any day for sure.
7:27 she declined the promotion and transferred out of HQ to the Far East Branch due to the events of the 2nd Eruption. I GREAT read btw. I highly recommend it!
