- Reacting to All Monster Hunter Trailer! Starting from 2003 all the way till the most recent! I was blown away by this and could not wait to share this reaction with you! Its the first time ive seen them and am not disappointed! Bring on part 2!
"I guess this will be a two part series."
So that was a fucking lie.
And I'm living for it :D
Yeah........About that......
@@Zall Don't worry! All you have left is some more game intros, several more game trailers, music, monster intros, more size comparisons...
It'll be quick and easy! ':)
P.S.: Thanks so much for the pinned comment! It's my first one! :D
Watching these again I'm literally crying.
I never stopped playing the series but completely forgot how much I used to love these.
@ralfsstuff I think they bring back alot of memories for all! They did it right as I'm still playing 😂
Little fun fact, the Hunters we see in the intros are usually referenced in the games as NPC’s, some of which you can even talk to!
Most of the intros usually also start the same, a hunter or a group of hunters fighting a basic low rank threat and then The Flagship of the game appears. Flagships being the different monsters seen on the box arts, basically mascots for each game.
I did indeed enjoyed that, can't wait to binge the entire playlist!
@jyaafi8158 love that!!
Yep, monster hunter 3 ultimate was and is the only one where you were able to fight monsters under water. A lot of people didn’t like the swim mechanics in it (not me, I loved mh3u).
Monster Hunter Tri had underwater fighting first and yeah I loved the swimming mechanic. I know a lot of people complained about how slow and sluggish it felt but I thought it made perfect sense since hunters, like humans, are not aquatic creatures and shouldn’t be able to move through the water as fast as they move on land.
@@The_Mewster69 Correct, most underwater fights are damn epic
Rathalos (the red one) is a Flying Wyvern and in the MH2 opening the dark one is Kushuladaora a Elder Dragon (an actual true dragon). The raptors in the first clip and third one are Bird Wyverns which are basically dinosaurs in this universe. The Aptonoth that keep getting attacked is a common trend since they're basically everywhere. The larger theropod's you see in the later openings similar to the raptors in build are Brute Wyverns and they're basically theropod dinosaurs although some of them in the games are herbivores. All the games are not set on the same island btw, same region/continent but they take place in different area's. Monster Hunter World takes place on a completely different continent.
Not all bird wyverns are dinosaur-looking though, Malfestio, Qurupeco, Yian Kut-ku, etc don't really look like dinosaurs
@@benginaldclocker2891 Birds are dinosaurs.....
I had to come back to these videos after the new trailer.
What a start on a journy. And what a continuation we will get.
14:31 tri/3u version of proof of a hero (mh main theme) is called to be one with life, to me it is the main theme for the series
In monster hunter the character creating is your choice and you can really make it wierd😂
This is my favorite game series of all time! I hope you get to enjoy this awesome video game series. And if you could can you actually react to some monster hunter music? There aren't a whole lot of videos reacting to the music, and I think it would be awesome if we could expand that.
Sounds good to me! Any particular music you recommend??
@@Zall valstrax, zinogre, gore magala, vaal hazak, safi jiva, and if you would like maybe some village themes? I recommend: pokke village, bherna village, mezeporta, pokke gathering hub, and Kokoto village. These are just a select few themes. There are wayyyyy more songs. My favorite out of all of them is valstrax.
@@Zall I cant believe I forgot proof of a hero. Would you like me to provide the links?
@@thecringeprophet that would be amazing! You could try but youtube might not like it and remove the comment before I even see it
@@Zall ok then I'll start sending away a couple. Do you want the orchastra versions or the original versions?
If you are interested to learn more about this series of games there is a video called "How to Monster Hunter" on youtube made by Punk Duck which really sums up this series quite well.
I was just about to post that exact video into the react recommendations xD
I love your reaction! It seems that you were experiencing the same magical moment that I experienced years ago when I first played these games! I am happy that you are enjoying these trailers ;)
I love your reaction to rathalos' debut XD
Thank you!
One thing I like about that first trailer is that the hunting strategy it shows for the two velocipreys (the blue raptor things) is actually based on real life pack hunting predators, notably lions. The strategy is basically to cause a mass panic to make the herd flee which in turn allows the predators to single out week and vulnerable individuals that won't be able to keep up.
And having a larger solitary predator stealing the kill from smaller pack hunters is of course also a thing that actually happens quite a bit.
first of all, YES Monster Hunter tries to depict a strange and foreign ecosystem with all its beauty and all its ugliness
you create your own character, who usually just started out as a Hunter, and grab one of the weapons, hunt monsters, use their skin/scales/teeth/claws etc, to craft new weapons and armor
all of it packed into a okay to decent story line (the games are more gameplay oriented than anything), and boom: you got a game in which you will invest hundreds of hours
game is 1-4 player coop, action combat, slight RPG elements (in terms of armor and weapon effects) - and genuinely one of the best game series I ever played
(BIG WARNING: the gameplay needs to "click" with the player, most of the time the game feels sluggish, clunky, slow, and boring to new players - so if you should get into it, don't get disappointed by the immediate game feeling, most Monster Hunter addicts felt the same when they started^^)
Not sure if the game is for me just yet but loving the cinematics! So glad im watching them! But if i do play it ill bare the sluggish ness in mind ;) I feel i should at least give it a go!
@@Zall most new people say sluggish but thats because they probably expected devil may cry levels of speed the weapons are heavy in game but youll feel the weapons weight when fighting
Nice content dude
Keep it up what you want to prove to your audience , new friend here supporting you
Thanks for sharing your video my new friend I'm a Pilippino from Philippines
Seeing the opening of monster hunter 4 ultimate is what made me want to play it the most when I got it.
Now… I know that those hunters are totally dead. They had trouble with Tigrex, they are DEAD from Gore Magala 😂
ちなみにモンスターハンター4のトレーラーのBGMは東京オリンピックの選手入場の時に流れていました
The poor child :C
but these trailers, i feel like nowadays you get more pixels, but less coolness, like trading quality for quantity of pixels.
By the way, dont know if you already saw it, but a Trailer for a new Mortal kombat movie is out, and its pretty good, just an idea :D
I have seen it doing the rounds online cant say ive actually watched it yet! I feel I don't know the characters enough so would probably embarrass my self If I reacted! ;)
@@Zall well true, if you arent a mk fan you are likely to be 30% less WAOW-ed.
Still looks pretty good though.
I always forget about 4
Nice sharing ....
What brand of your pc
Also GORA MAGALA BEST FLAGSHIP!!!!
Nergigante is good but he can’t beat my angy boi
Very late message by like... what? 9 months?
But I just discovered your channel from your reaction to the monster sizes and started binging.
Monster Hunter (the first) had much less weapons or monsters.
Monster hunter 2 introduced new weapons, and new monsters as well as variants.
Monster Hunter third generation (portable and 3 etc) introduced another weapon, under water combat, and a huge new roster.
Monster Hunter 4 removed under water combat but introduced terrain differences which you could leap and do Arial combat, as well as two new weapons, and a huge new roster of monsters. (Personally my favorite story as well)
I'll stop there since your reactions stopped there but yeah. Monster Hunter as you now know is it's own world of life and lore.
Glad you found the channel! Hopefully you enjoy the content and always encourage people to leave in depth comments even if someone else has already covered it as I love seeing peoples love for this game! as you said in another comment the community really is amazing
