  • Some places, they can roll all year long, but around Nick's Garage, the cars have to spend the winter in storage. The last cruise before locking them away can be a pretty sweet ride.

Well my friend Nick, you've fulfilled my appetite for this week of all those glorious vehicle inside and outside your shop, sad to have the season end, I too put my73 Grand Prix pictured to the left away for winter, but being the child I am, I go to my garage and run it every weekend, cause separation anxiety would make the winter in New York a Lil longer and a lot more miserable, looking forward to your winter projects, get the heater in the shop going and we will bring the coffee ,

That '73 sounds like a dream! Keep her mint brother. I do the same with my 2016 Challenger Scat Pack Shaker. Its a fair weather summertime-only ride. Ordered her brand new & just hit 2600 miles last week with a trip upto North Salem upstate NY. I try & take it for a spin when time allows through Nov only up until sanitation spreads out the salt for an upcoming storm...from that moment to April she is locked in the garage tucked away nicely under her cover detailed inside/out to perfection :-) cheers

    Best video so far!
I have never seen screws in the wheel rim before to stop the tyres spinning,
    that's a cool cheap solution.
Iv'e watched the vid 3 times now and keep thinking i'd love "that" car , and that one and that one, truth is they are all stunning
but my fav is the Interceptor because it's someone's dream and how awesome is he going to feel when hes cruising around in that.
Our cars in the UK are so boring compared to these,
I was born in the wrong country.

Big block engine cars get a lot of attention but I was a teen when the 289 Mustang hit the streets and I thought , WOW a lightweight car with a hot 289 engine seems mighty sweet to me. Chevy had the Chevelle 283 and chrysler had a four barrel 273 barracuda. Later on all those cars were given bigger engines but the small blocks were lighter and more agile if you wanted to run them down a curvy road.

I had a 71 Cuda with 340 4 speed. Actually window the block with # 3 Connecting rod crossing the finish line. Lost oil pressure just seconds before. In 1981. To this day I can still hear it letting go like I was still seating in it when it happened.... should have kept it. And sent it to Dr Nick..

Here in Windsor, we're lucky that we can pretty well drive our cars until the middle of November close to December before the weather really changes before we have to park our cars. We didn't get any snow until January of this year so we got lucky with extra long cruising weather, the cold will never hurt your cars, but the snow and salt will.

for the mad max blower sound, could you put some noisy gear drive cam gears in a closed container, behind the pulley on the blower with a bit oil oil on the bottom to lube them? they whine alot like a roots supercharger. you could vary the electric motor speed to get the right tone or loudness.

Nick, I have a 70 T/A as well same color as yours that was completely stripped down to bare metal inside and out just short of a rotisory....... I didn't have the t/a block so I bought a brand new x block from Glendora Dodge had it built to put out 400 hp. With the original 6 pack air cleaner...... lost interest in the car when the guy that was helping lost his shop and kept my fender tags this was in 1996 so the T/A has been dormant..... been considering a new gen Hemi with a 6 speed and up date suspension..... what do u think?
