Nothing to do with ego Elliot, the guy I was dating flaked on me for the last time. I explained to him (politely) I realised he was too busy and told him we should leave it at that. Since then, he has text me every day, one good morning text every morning, I do not see the point in engaging in acknowledging his text as he brought us to where we are now, he invested very little in our connection I have to say. I had no choice but to ignore as I am not a priority in his world, as it stands right now. He had plenty chances! Such a shame as we had a brilliant connection from day one. I was dumped outta the blue..went NC 3 weeks later i had to contact him do to a finatual issue out of my control. The text was short. He text me immediately and asked to met me ( i felt i had to because of this finatual issue) so i went. 4 hours of him crying and begging i give him a 2nd chance. I told him that i would think about it. That was last sunday. He text me a few times during the week but i kept it very short and did not text him 1st....( did not text about getting back together ) 3 days later ( the day before Valentine's day) he sent me yet another " i think we should go out separate ways text"...what the heck? Beg me back on Sunday..promise all kinds of changing....then 3 days later send another dumping me text? Smh...to be honest i dont want him, dont love him and could care less...this finatual issue will come to end the 1st week of April. That leaves another month and 1/2 to deal with him. Thank God he does not text me often...and i dodged a bullet with him..smh

Yep, I ran into a guy who wanted me to go on a trip with him early in the relationship. I said, NO. I thought it was weird. You go on a trip together maybe after a 6 month anniversary or a 1 year anniversary.. Then I realized I think I have a "partier". He would always hang out at a bar on Fridays, and then I thought well....I was never one of these. So I just figured it wasn't a good fit. You know what he did after I turned him down, he asked if I could loan him suntan lotion for the trip. Again weird. I did loan him the suntan lotion and broke up with him about a month or two later.

@@maureenkam9212 yes we could of stayed friends I believe in a sense we still are however we ended on good terms n had a great friendship for 3yrs I decided to take the space with him bc clearly for whatever reason it was in limbo n he either wasn't ready for a commitment or it wasent right timming I couldn't really pin point the reason but thought it was best to end it to give him time to miss me n figure himself out while I do the same focus on my own life but you are right thank you so much for your postive n encouraging message will do!💕

They work for it but once they get it...then they take you for granted... As well as I wanna be loved and accepted fully for me... When I'm done with games/deciding that I decided on you... Then I let my guard down.. etc I can become clingy and anxious but that is usually when I can sense beforehand that something dodge is about to happen...
So no one wanna invest a much time into someone who only gonna take you for a ride - literally and figuratively

I played all the games in the beginning and sucked anyway. Never had the trouble with the right guy tho :) our energies match so good.
I was dumped outta the blue..went NC 3 weeks later i had to contact him do to a finatual issue out of my control. The text was short. He text me immediately and asked to met me ( i felt i had to because of this finatual issue) so i went. 4 hours of him crying and begging i give him a 2nd chance. I told him that i would think about it. That was last sunday. He text me a few times during the week but i kept it very short and did not text him 1st....( did not text about getting back together ) 3 days later ( the day before Valentine's day) he sent me yet another " i think we should go out separate ways text"...what the heck? Beg me back on Sunday..promise all kinds of changing....then 3 days later send another dumping me text? Smh...to be honest i dont want him, dont love him and could care less...this finatual issue will come to end the 1st week of April. That leaves another month and 1/2 to deal with him. Thank God he does not text me often...and i dodged a bullet with him..smh

Yep, I ran into a guy who wanted me to go on a trip with him early in the relationship. I said, NO. I thought it was weird. You go on a trip together maybe after a 6 month anniversary or a 1 year anniversary.. Then I realized I think I have a "partier". He would always hang out at a bar on Fridays, and then I thought well....I was never one of these. So I just figured it wasn't a good fit. You know what he did after I turned him down, he asked if I could loan him suntan lotion for the trip. Again weird. I did loan him the suntan lotion and broke up with him about a month or two later.

It's so hard Eliot for me to ignore the guy but I can see that it's the only thing that works. When I was clingy, desperate, showing interest, he literally pulled away from me, dumped me brutally! Now that I am totally ignore him, he looks angry and keeps staring at me. The problem though is, I am more mature, old-fashioned, traditional lady, while he is an immature, playing, childish egotistic guy who is swarmed by beauty queens. He is so used to being chased that it pisses him off me not doing it. Now the problem is, how can I keep his attention, I am afraid that after he chases me back, I will give in again and show my feelings, which will make him again discard me. I feel like I have to learn to be a different person to keep his attention: playing hard to get. And it is so unnatural to me, as I am straightforward, open, honest and mature.
