Was driving through Tennesse colony TX. Came across a small creek, along the road. Flipped back around and thought I hit it up from crappie. Was surprised to find a treasure trove of crappie. This was last week, had a blast.
That was great !! We got some good creeks around Benbrook Lake and Pat Cleburne Lake , so Here We Go !!! Will be crappie and white bass fun. Thank you so much for tips n sharing.
Me and the kids have been finding them in spring/cypress creeks since November. It’s been hit and miss, but fun none the less!! Great video brother, I look forward to your next one. Also, great tip about the zoom disco glitter tails from your other video; they work great.
Heck yeah dude. I caught them white bass with inline spinners with my 6"6 one piece acc crappie stix. The biggest fish I caught with it was a 6 pound 1 ounce bowfin slip corking for crappie. I would not recommend doing that consistently with this rod for obvious reasons. But the fact I landed it was very impressive.
I don’t know where you are, but I have been catching white bass on a crank bait for the last month on the Cumberland River. The largest being 2.2 pounds.

Nice video. And yeah here in kentucky where I fish im usually some of the first boot tracks on the bank of one of our rivers that they spawn in and if it aint whites its crappie.
That’s awesome man. Fishing will help. That’s awesome man. It’s my stress reliever and gets my mind off of everything. Thanks for watching and the support! God bless!
The only problem I have with your theory is that white bass don't make beds like you say. They spawn on top of the water, usually in swift moving waters. They'll also spawn for 3-4 months. They're more than likely prespawn feeding to build up reserves for all of the energy expended trying to breed with multiple females, fighting for position with other competing males, and fighting swift currents.
You know after I posted this video, I realized I had said make beds. Knowing they don’t make beds. I think I was thinking about crappie lol but I appreciate you for watching brother! God bless!
