Don't get me wrong, I like the product, and there's nothing wrong with the video. But when you can buy one of these on amazon for $169, and then take 30 minutes to load free software which updates itself, and sell it for $500...I wouldn't be able to sleep at night. But, to each their own. :)
The shield ran Kodi perect. very fast. Instant response compared to the cheap amazon stick or kodi boxes. If the power is the same its still 10 times better than and comparable hardware from anywhere else.
For everyone that cant add in the world this is for you. And for people that have no life and want to make rude, incorrect, and unnecessary comments on my post. When you get the system from N2fun you get 2 remotes. The second remote is $59.00. so if you take the Nvidia Pro at $299 + $59 for the remote plus $15 for shipping from me to you then you have paid $373 for the system. Not $300 as the jerk in the last post says. If you don't like that then buy it some where else. On top of that you get phone support and help as needed for your system in case you mess it up. So, if you once again don't like that price or what I'm offering that's fine, then go somewhere else. Otherwise, shut your mouth about price if you cant do the most simple math.
Yes this unit will play live tv. CW, espn, abc, etc.

These boxes are open and you can do many more things with them. The amazon box may have slightly better hardware but I would still use these generic boxes because they are unlocked.

my mistake. its a shield. you may have to restore to defaults if the option for uninstalling the play store update is not available.

What is better for streaming shows and UFC fights (for free)? This or the amazon fire tv box? I game on my Xbox one so I doubt I'll be gaming on this but I'll get it over the amazon box if it plays higher quality video. I'll be getting a 4k tv in November.

We bought this and got it on Sunday we can't seem to get the MAME to work! It is not preloaded on the screen is there something we are missing? We bought it from Amazon,,,, I guess that is why it is not preloaded.... Could you maybe walk me through step by step..... we have tried and tried and just can't get it to work! Thanks

I just got a shield pro, and downloaded name for droid, went online and found a rom pack that I installed, but a lot of games don't work. Are you running into this problem? Thanks
Came across the same problem, even though your Roms have the correct file names of the ones you need the Roms you have are wrong for your version or are missing parent roms (the original rom file).
Go to emuparadise and grab the roms you want (including parent roms where required) then drop them into your Mame roms folder.
Use the Roms list on mame4u to identify the specific roms you need eg Mario Bros. (Japan, bootleg).
You will be asked to overwrite many files because many of the roms your pasting have the same file names but they will all work afterwards.
You can always download a complete rom set fom the site to save messing about but the download will be over i gigabite.

I can't get in google Play store, what am I doing wrong. Just pruchased it and every time I input my email and password, it starts the process again to enter email and password.
Ronnie Wortham unplug and and try again. if that dont work goto settings, apps, second row and go to play store app, click on it. uninstall update. that sgpuld help.

Sorry my English. I am form denmark !!!!!!!!!!!!!! He put the downloaded files. into there correct folder Then load it in the emulator. You can use es file explore. Or x Files. I use x files. That 3 click and it have a server. so on my phone or pc i can put the files from pc over to it. Its the best and easy way. Its an awesome machine. just got mine 9 days ago. i use it to stream my pc games. and play geforce game now. and use it with kode. 560 channnel. i am from denmark. and use it for pop corn time or terrarium for free movies or series... I have also put an full ubuntu Linux system on it. So now i have a power full machine in my bedroom. with joystick and the remote. and wireless keyboard and mouse... There is plenty of more stuff to do on it. But in the end. is a fast little boks. for geeks :D Sorry my English. I am form denmark
