Thanks Matt. Great suggestion with the bandana! I have the Georgia heat as well and its a great little stove! I love having options! I have been using my SP700 on my last few trips and is a great Cook pot.I think my wife was eying it on our last trip for her cook pot..:) Thanks for watching buddy!!
... the blue 450 as my dedicated coffee mug. My upgrade was a penny stove to the smokeeater908 Georgia Heat stove for longer and more controlled cooking. A bandana is a good alternative to the scrubbing sponge as it can be cleaned easier and drys out fast. Love the customized lids!
Excellent cook system Brother.... you've got it all dialed-in by the looks of it! Think I may have to break down and pick up one of those SP 450s (along with lid of course)... I can handle something going wrong with my cook pot, but the sacred coffee must be well protected at all times! lol P.S. Thanks a bunch for the mention of the website by the way... much appreciated :-)
Ya I just recently got the optimus Titanium spoon thats shined smooth at the end...Its got a bigger sized bowl for a spoon. Good for shoveling the chili mac down..:D Thanks for watching Todd!
I get above 9,000 and they are ok, on the way down, the bottle suck in and the fuel leeks. ive been keeping them in a zip lock but now, went back to the msr aluminum screw on top bottles.
If you do go Titanium stop by 4 dog stove for some great ti-lids. eventually I will be replacing my aluminum lids with those. Wish I heard about them sooner! Thanks for watching Jim!
I cant believe I forgot the fuel bottles..LOL.I purchased mine from REI I usually carry 1 or 2 4oz bottles and a 1oz bottle .Depending on how much fuel I will need. The 1oz bottle is just for measuring out the fuel and is kept empty until needed. I haven had any of my bottles leak yet.My elevation here is about 2300ft and I have been up to around 6500ft and haven't noticed any leaking yet.Have you noticed at what elevation yours start to leak? Thanks for the heads up! I will be watching for it.
