Quite a bit of the newer camping gear coming out of Korea and Japan is simply awesome. Recently saw a couple using some of this stuff while camping this summer. Their meal prep and plate presentations were just like a high quality restaurant. Always fun to be able to prepare meals like this while being in the outdoors.
Love it. Very good setup. If you get the opportunity you might like the Three Peaks camp ground near Iwakuni. The park has nice hiking trails and mountain views. Plus you can visit Kintaikyo bridge while you are in the area it’s a small town with nice shops. The best time to go is when the cherry blossom 🌸 are in bloom. They also have a nice temple and museum there. Plus not far from Iwakuni is a restaurant called the chicken shack it’s in the mountains a very nice place to enjoy dinner and there is a nice bath house near by. Happy new year and God bless.

It's the only option you have if you want propane for your Takibi Fire Pit. I've been having a positive experience with it so far. The only thing that I find frustrating about the Zutto is attaching the propane line to the Zutto attachment itself. You think it's snapped in but it's not and then you have to remove all the lava rocks to prevent it from jamming. Once you set it up, it's smooth sailing! It's really convenient. It's especially convenient for me because I always have 2x 20lbs propane tank with me when I'm camping with my RV. This might be an issue if you are limited on storage space in your car. One 20lbs proane tank should last you a weekend trip with generous usage of the fire pit! Let me know if you have any other questions. If you decide to get it, save yourself 10% by using ZUTTOCAMPALOT at checkout (note, I don't get affiliated commission for this product).

Hi there! The flat burner uses ISO butane. Snow Peak recommends their brand but I have used all sorts of brand before. I find that the GSI ISO butane from REI is the best. Thanks for watching!
My Oden pot fits well. Are you using it with a grill burner? It was designed to be used with the grill burner for a perfect fit. Other burners will work but it might not have the most perfect fit. Thanks for watching!
@@Floormat212 I cook rice in a lot of different pots. I just use whatever pot I bring with me on trips. The Big Sierra Cup is better used for soups. Rice tastes the best when I cook it in a SP Micro Pot. However, my multifunction pot that I use for cooking rice and everything else is a rectangle mestin pot that I got in Korea by Kinox.
There are so many good items in Korea. Do you have specific category in mind? For your pot, you should get the Kinox mestin pot while in Korea. You can deep fry of steam in that pot too with its add ons!
I think in another video I think it says it’s the outdoor patio RV rug from Walmart - I have been trying a 10x14 CGear sandproof RV mat under my Jikaro Takibi setup which is lighter more compact but also more expense, works well but it’s so light have to stake it down, the Walmart rug stays down without staking - both wash off easily with a hose - the CGear is also perfect as a beach mat
The Oden hotpot was fine upon first use. However I examined it when I got home and noticed two small dots at the bottom that is a sign of the coating starting to peel off. It’s quite disappointing for a pot that is at this price level. Thanks for watching!

But according to a large majority of people who have the Oden pot, there is a high chance of the coating scraping off. Snow Peak’s response is that this is normal and does not affect the usage or performance of the pot. I hope they figure a way to rectify this.

If we suddenly go into ww3? I would be happy to have this or the tools to make this. Glamping is camping. Make it as comfortable as possible. That’s why people heat with oil or electricity. Wood stoves are used in area that does not have utilities. Would you rather a out house or your bathroom indoors? Worst comes to worst. You might not have a choice!!!!

@@Floormat212 I cook rice in a lot of different pots. I just use whatever pot I bring with me on trips. The Big Sierra Cup is better used for soups. Rice tastes the best when I cook it in a SP Micro Pot. However, my multifunction pot that I use for cooking rice and everything else is a rectangle mestin pot that I got in Korea by Kinox.

There are so many good items in Korea. Do you have specific category in mind? For your pot, you should get the Kinox mestin pot while in Korea. You can deep fry of steam in that pot too with its add ons!

What blankets are those you are using for your ground cloth?
I think in another video I think it says it’s the outdoor patio RV rug from Walmart - I have been trying a 10x14 CGear sandproof RV mat under my Jikaro Takibi setup which is lighter more compact but also more expense, works well but it’s so light have to stake it down, the Walmart rug stays down without staking - both wash off easily with a hose - the CGear is also perfect as a beach mat

Is your Oden hot pot okay after using it? Mine rusted a very little bit after the first usage. 😇 It's not critical but just disappointed.
The Oden hotpot was fine upon first use. However I examined it when I got home and noticed two small dots at the bottom that is a sign of the coating starting to peel off. It’s quite disappointing for a pot that is at this price level. Thanks for watching!

@@linzhang2898I haven’t contacted them yet because my issue is not major as of right now. But according to a large majority of people who have the Oden pot, there is a high chance of the coating scraping off. Snow Peak’s response is that this is normal and does not affect the usage or performance of the pot. I hope they figure a way to rectify this.

If we suddenly go into ww3? I would be happy to have this or the tools to make this. Glamping is camping. Make it as comfortable as possible. That’s why people heat with oil or electricity. Wood stoves are used in area that does not have utilities. Would you rather a out house or your bathroom indoors? Worst comes to worst. You might not have a choice!!!!
