      @@thegeordiefellwalker8878 Virus issues: If you can boot into Windows then try KVRT (free 'run-once' removal tool from Kaskerpsky - google "KVRT") and Malwarebytes - between those two they get rid of almost all dodgy stuff. If no joy or you can't boot into Windows then you could reinstall Windows (use a different computer download from MS and stick on a USB flash drive) and if that's the case and if the laptop has a hard-drive then it's 100% worth swapping out for an SSD too, and you might even be able to retrieve your files from the old hard-drive when it's out of the laptop. If that all sounds gobbledigook then I'd be happy to help out assuming lockdown rules change at some point to allow.

    I went on holiday to chatton in 2018
    Visited chillingham and Alnick castle. The countryside of Northumberland is breathtaking, especially the gorseland on a sunny day, purple and yellow flowers, hills and trees and spectacular views all around. It's so breathtaking.

  • @mediaabboxx812

    The hill you were to going is another slag (spoil) heap from the old colliery that was there many years ago (there are lots in the immediate area). You will have past the commemorative coal truck and plaque on your left hand side, around 20 metres past the landrover. If you carried on around 30 metres along the rail line you will come to a bridge which gives access under the rail line and brings you to the other side of the farm but still gives you access to the track you took to the beach. Might be a bit safer if you go that way again. ATB bonny lad.

    • @AndyWardle
      @AndyWardle  3 роки тому

      Aye I was seeing on the map one went over one under. The second Land Rover sent me over. 😂 it’s ok though it’s only goods trains. Dead slow and i think the crossing is designed so you can see for miles. Great area though so much more to explore. Atb 👍

    Great video Andy, the disused railway I think is the old wagonway between the old brickworks to the north, along side Seaton Delaval Colliery, to New Hartley Colliery. The group of trees appear to be on an old soil heap for New Hartley Colliery. Done a number of Walks around Seaton Sluice and between Whitley Bay and Blyth with my cousins over the last 40 years. The area is changing quickly.

    • @AndyWardle
      @AndyWardle  3 роки тому

      It’s really changed even in the short time I’ve lived here. Houses springing up all over. Not much left of the Isabella now. Wont be long before they start on the area I mentioned. I’ll move to lynemouth 😂 cheers for watching atb 👍

    11:05 - Me and my daughter built that! haha ... Also, as you come over the railway road crossing on Laverock Hall Road, there's a track on the left a little further up which basically takes you straight down to the woods :D

  • @gw6797
    @gw6797 3 роки тому

    I was born and bred in Blyth and I had the same thought as you about that hill. So it only took me forty odd years to get the pooch out with me and go and explore. I must as admit to being disappointed as previous comments have said that it's an old slag heap and mostly covered with pine trees but there was a lot of crap and remains of fires.
    I had a feeling your accent gave away that you weren't from Blyth when you pronounced Cow pen and New sham 😁
    Cheers for the vid though Andy as I will do that walk carrying on to the Beach circular which I haven't done

    It is so wonderful you live so close to the sea! We are about 6-700 miles away, but here in the foothills between the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Appalachian Mtns., where the 2,190 mile Appalachian Trail is, is right pleasant with lots of trees, enough that the deer can travel around. I really am enjoying seeing the out-of-the-way places around your home.

    There's always a bit of a thrill crossing a rail line because it is so often a forbidden place. I see your local paths are as destroyed as ours - it's good to see people getting out but sheer numbers plus the mountain bikers on top, and the wet weather - has just destroyed all the local paths. Nice a little wonder though. Exploring new places is always fun.
