    I was born in Blyth,moved to stoke on Trent when the pits closed.blyth holds a special place in my heart.nana used to send my to Joe Percy's ,I can see him now in my minds eye such a lovely man. Thanks for the memories.

    That town once had soul and heart. lost it in the mid 70s then hard drugs hit the town in a big way.

    I lost my Father whom was a Blyth Boy, which I was separated from after a divorce and brought to Australia. So amazing to see this sort of stuff - it really is amazing to see where ancestors roamed around. If you have any more please do share !!

      Does it heck, pound shops, charity shops and a sorry excuse of a tat market.

      @@summerrrr It is by far and away the most depressing town I've ever lived in and I've lived in multiple towns and cities classed as much worse than Blyth.
