I just got a Flip 6 for a kayaking trip this past weekend and am very happy with it. No issues with it being splashed, stayed strong for 10 hours, and loud enough for my buddies in their kayaks to hear. I almost went with the Go 3 for a cheaper and more portable option, but I don't think the battery would have survived the 10 hour float. The Clip 4 may have been a good alternative if I wanted to spend a little less, but I think the better sound output from the Flip made the higher price tag worth it. Another speaker I almost considered was the Bose Soundlink Flex but I don't think it offered any better sound/features for a $30 higher price tag over the Flip 6.
I just returned the Bose Soundlink Flex. I had it on high volume and only lasted 5 hours and 20 mins. Not a long enough battery life for me when fishing off the kayak/boat. It did sound really good though. Considering on getting this flip 6.
@@f22kee34 That makes me glad I didn't go with the Bose Flex. I think you'll be more than satisfied with the Flip 6. I've used it pretty extensively since I got it and my kayak trip. It's primarily been my garage speaker when I'm working out in my home gym and I have another kayak trip coming up in a few weeks that I plan on taking it. The sound quality is fantastic and i've been very happy with the battery life.
@@RealG23__ I'm sure somebody does. It depends on who you ask. Maybe somebody is looking for a speaker to take on a camping trip and they won't have power for a few days.
You shouldn't mess with the bass too much. Too much bass will blow a speaker quicker than anything else, and those little woofers aren't made for much power.
Does anyone know when this thing is being released in Australia because I have the flip 5 and could really do with the flip 6 as well so that I can partyboost them together?
Hey man my name's Alex big fan of you're channel I've got a really weird but also cool speaker you should look at the Goodman's 200w party speaker it's only 99 pounds so I wanted too see what you'd think of this really really cheap 200w party speaker as it's so cheap it looks like the JBL party box 110
I've seen review but not good and know how good you are it's ok if you don't want to or can't do it but it's just a suggestion as I know sometimes you love suggestion btw keep up the good work and I won't be offended if you say no so dw
hello thank you for this pleasant review and good humor Do you think it's a good idea to replace an old charge 3 with this model? My use is mainly 50% of the volume on charge 3 and I don't use reverse charging, nor the jack, I just want a quality at least the same, or even better, even losing slightly Powerful I appreciate the difference in size because in use my Ch3 is a bit heavy and difficult to place in a bag, on the other hand I like its "foot" and I'm a little afraid that the flip will "flip" permanently 😅 Thanks in advance and sorry for bad english
Jbl flip 6 is great except for the charging port it becomes really annoying when you go to charge it becsuse if you take it anywhere there is water it will have issues charging giving you the error sound
Can you please do a Samson sr950 vs oneodio pro 50 comparison I heard that the sr950 has a lot of bass and quality and I am confuse between sr950 and oneodio pro50
You'd want to link 2 or 3 of them for coverage, but loudness won't be a problem. You can link Flip 6 with Flip 5, so if a couple of friends have those, you're all set.
They're far from it , they feel pretty premium they are hefty in weight and quite tough if they are accidentally dropped or knocked off the counter or table onto the floor.
@@miksumasterjbl8899 harman kardon is also a higher tier than most jbl stuff so it would make sense? Quality wise jbl speakers are still very durable wdym.
I think JBL has gone downhill over the years by cutting more and more features and quality . I heard this one is only using 1 bass driver and no app is inexcusable. Compared to Anker , these guys are way way behind .
Very likely because it’s owned by Harman Kardon, and Harman Kardon was bought out by Samsung in 2017, so for example the flip 5 and 6 were both designed and released under Samsung’s ownership, and they were instantly worse and removed features compared to the amazing flip 4 and really good flip 3.
You are definitely thinking of a different speaker guy. The flip 6 is the best since the flip 4 and I had that speaker since it came out (2017) until a few days ago I upgraded cause I’ve heard NOTHING but GOOD things.

Just bought a Flip 6 last weekend. Very happy with it! This is an entertaining and informative review. Nice content, got a few laughs along the way!
I freaking love this UA-cam channel
I keep everything on the EQ at full all the time because it sounds the best and is the loudest
It probably decreases battery life but it depends on what you're looking for. The best battery life vs best sound.

I watched the full video, and i like the ‘catching’ part… who else? 😊
I wanna see Wilson that's throwing u the speakers!
Wilson is a 75 year old woman.
Flip6 vs Tribit Stormbox? Better bass outdoor?
Tribit is best in value. Comparable to flip 6 in terms of performance
Not feeling the BIG logo!
This is the flip with a twitter and the most output watt of 30w total. No other flip has a twitter. Just Sound wise.
I hate Twitter.
@@loveisthething why ? It's very important to the sound quality
that jbl 6 is a good speaker no prblems bro
You so have to check out the partybox 100
Your not chubby, you actually look jacked
Can you try out the onn line of party speakers. They are units
Keep up the good work on vids
Definitely not 360 sound. But I have the JBL Flip 6 and it sounds great and battery lasts a good while. Cool review!
😁😁😁👍👍👍👐👐👐🙌🙌🙌 happy holidays..
That CT shirt tho 🔥
i love the sound of this speaker but it lags when i walk more than 20ft away with my phone, it definitely doesnt have a 30m bluetooth range
Sounds great but when I make a phone call it doesn’t work thru the speaker. Deal breaker
@spinozasdreams the Sony XB
Great speaker
Can we connect jbl flip 4 & jbl flip 6 at a same time for stereo performance? Is it compatible?
No
Ya u can but not stero because it is not the same speaker

I'll pass.
I don't like JBL speakers anymore.
Lack of quality and the bass rolls off at 60% volume.
I like Harman Kardon speakers.
@ Both are made by Harman.
Harman Kardon and JBL are sister companies, but they're both owned by Harman.
