Instax sucks...but that's good?

Just my thoughts on Instax so far after using it for a couple of weeks. I talk about my observations of the medium and the cameras, and let you know whether I'm going to stick with it and why (TLDW: I am sticking with it). Also, I found out how to adjust the white balance in iMovie!

Yes I need to experiment more to take advantage of the instax quirks :)

Instax mini link + Monochrome film + my old Ricoh Digital 4 = fantastic. Certainly are some quirks to figure out and experimenting will cost some money (due to film cost). Once figured out it will produce some timeless images/pieces of art. I prefer proper photo prints but the instax has some charm and can add character to some images.

That’s an interesting idea! I did buy some monochrome film, but only used on one of the analog instax cameras - I believe photography concentrate did test monochrome film on an SP-2 vs converting a colour image to monochrome before printing on standard instax, but can’t remember what the conclusion was
