Instax Cameras vs Instax Printers

With Christmas coming up and people looking for present ideas, I give my opinion as to which is better - the Instax cameras (both analog or hybrid), or the Instax printers?

I've been using my instax mini 25 for about 5 years now and looking to change it up. Your reviews have been so helpful with seeing what the new options are (square vs printer vs hybrid) and also seeing the different image qualities that come out. Thanks so much!

Hey great videos I ve just recently started following you. As I am also trying to find a Christmas present. I am looking into the instead mini liplay and one of the printers. I know you state that you prefer the printers. My question would be in the case of the liplay, if I used it solely as a printer, and take a phot with my iPhone for example would it still be of a worse quality? Thanks

Hello and thanks for following :) I think the print quality is very similar between the Liplay and the dedicated printer (SP-2), so if you use your iPhone for taking the picture then you'd be fine with either device. I can tell you that your iPhone will take much better photos than the Liplay's camera. Let me know how you go!

Also check out the new Instax Mini Link, which is basically the Liplay without the camera, and a bit cheaper too, so you can spend the savings on film 😃

I was also looking at the Polaroid mint. But reading about tit think it’s a bit of a gimic quality wise

No problem :) we don’t have the Polaroid mint here, but I can see it uses Zink technology. I’ve pretty much stopped using my HP sprocket Zink printer because it does terrible things to people’s skin (makes it very blotchy).
