Gragson got penalized 30 points, which is at least 3 stage wins worth of points. Next time any driver wrecks another guy on purpose, any series, should be the same penalty. Now, NASCAR can justify this because they did emphasize bigger penalties before this year for bad behavior by drivers or teams.

There are several safety belts in a "stock" race car - one of them goes between the legs. Threre was a quck shot of him grabbing that area as he was exiting the car. It numbs up the entire area from the waist and part way down the thighs. Same thing happened to Mark Martin at Talladega.
Should have just confronted him on pit road after the race. I know it's impossible to know what places will kick up dirt, but at a road course that should be a general assumption and make that double if you're going up a hill
Karam coming into this race as an outsider, not in the points, and throwing fenders at a full timer. Yeah, definitely too aggressive, but Karam was out of line driving like that.
Things are getting out of hand. There used to be mutual respect amongst drivers and now these drivers are so aggressive it’s only a matter of time before someone gets hurt. I loved that NASCAR kept the policy of letting them police themselves when it came to this type of stuff but the self policing has gone out the window and there needs to be regulatory policy against this stuff.

It’s only a matter of time before someone exceeds the capabilities of the safety equipment and we have another fatality. Hopefully NASCAR steps in before that happens.
