I'm no fan of Ross Chastain, but I'm with him on this one. You grab my clothing, poke me, or stick your finger in my face, and it's game on. Ross clearly told him to stop, and even gave him time to back down. The punch was firm, but not a full-on attempt to lay out Gragson. The drivers may all hate him, but you have to admit Ross is making NASCAR fun to watch again. Denny's reaction when he saw the fight video was priceless, too.
Noah heard guy last week say someone needs to punch him, he thought he was a tough guy. Hes a spoiled rookie. Ross can throw. He has that smile but hes not fkin around. He didn't even wreck or touch Noah yesterday. Fact. His fist did. It was loud too..👍

Racing is entertainment, and right now, Ross is the show.
Everyone hating on Ross but they can't keep his name out of there mouths. I think Ross is very entertaining. Him and Daniel Suarez are my favorite drivers. I didn't really have a driver when Jr retired. Now that's all changed.

What happened was Noah thought he was gonna push the guy around a bit and walk away head high like he stood his ground. He didn't really understand he's racing with...mostly men.
Noah never got touched by Ross on the track. Ross gave him room. Noah runs off of anger. If your anger is unchecked by some kind of rationale and you really don't know how to fight,,,you're gonna get effed up.
Here's the thing I've not heard anyone mention. Ross Chastain didn't "door" Noah Gragson. The #1 car never touched the #42 car. The air between them pushed the #42 up. So Noah's argument should be against something we all breathe. Air. 😮
Bubba Wallace retaliated against Kyle Larson last year over the same thing. Those cars never touched either until Bubba lost his mind.
Drivers being mad at other drivers for "wrecking" them when the replays clearly show only air between them. Most of these drivers still have that spoon in their mouths and the owners won't put them in their place because that spoiled driver has the sponsor or family actually writing the checks.

There's a big difference between actually working in the field and being the child of the multi-millionaire who owns the largest watermelon company in north america that has hundreds maybe thousands of farms half of which aren't even in the USA. What gets me is all the drivers talking about respect. How disrespectful is it for a guy 5 laps down to race a top ten car with ten to go like he's racing for the win? Then to puff his chest out and say he fenced him. Noah should have respected Ross and Bubba who were racing for a top 5 and let them go.

I worked security one time at a local dirt track. There was a fight in the pits and the senior security guy told them one was going to the hospital and the other to jail. He was going to let them figure out which was which. LOL
Ross did NOTHING WRONG on-rack, he left Noah a lane he COULD have used if he had the talent (he doesnt). Noah got what he deserved for getting hands-on with the wrong dude. Security should jave stayed out of it and let Ross finish it.

@@FPSTed then there will be a lot of suspended drivers. Nascar already fined Denny. And any intentional actions or wrecks, or any actions that are manipulating the outcome of the race, are liable to be fines and/or a suspension.

But can we talk about the on-track side of this? Doesn't anyone think the "inccident" that Noah was all upset about was kinda a no big deal? Felt something you see any given week from any given driver. Noah also had plenty of room to avoid the wall off 4. I don't see Ross as the bad guy here. I feel Noah overreacted to a standard racing moment. But for Ross at this point, he sneezes and people react. He's got a target regardless.

I remember a couple of years ago when Noah would smack someone without even talking to them first. His first thought was to punch someone after getting out of the car. Somebody has settled him down apparently. And he stated Elliot told him to punch Chastain? Maybe Elliot should practice what he preaches......All that said I like Noah and Chastain. Both in my top 5.

Fans couldn't see it in the Xfinity Series because they were blinded by the JRM love. Especially Road America last year, which was worse than anything Ty Gibbs did.

@@NickyD NASCAR is, unfortunately very Selective when it comes to handing out punishments for aggressive racing..... if it were up to me, Noah would have been suspended for a few races and fined 100 Grand, but no, that would have sparked major backlash from the majority of the fan base. And Im a JRM fan all the way, but what Noah did definitely deserved consequences.
(Ps when the Bubba Wallace-Larson incident happened, I thought Bubba should've been suspended the rest of the season, ngl)....

Not happening with this kind of unfair driving. No way an Earnhardt gets the support today if that’s the approach he takes if he were alive.
