Regarding all your confusion finding your target after he bolted, problems like this can be avoided by making more use of your left-hand panel. His current location (might be just the planet or moon until you get close enough for surface settlements/details to be displayed) will always be shown (highlighted in blue), in the navigation tab of your left panel.
I see what you are saying about with the vanishing and re-appearing Vulture in SC, I have also seen this at times. A Vulture is a lot more maneuverable than Viper 4, this is why he was able to avoid your attempts to line him up at 1st. What you want to look at is your thrusters and power distributor, A rate them, then when a Vulture or similar tries that crap just boost, drop cargo scoop and pitch up and use vertical thrusters down at the same time, you will be able to get him in sight, then retract scoop and carry on killing them lol The masslock leaving area was due to the Fed ship (Anaconda) that was near you, you never really left the combat area because you were shooting Escape pods (supper funny though haha), and when you turned around after you plotted coarse to the objective you partially headed back towards the feds and the Conda, this made the time spent in masslock that much longer, as you have to get about 4.5km away from ship masslocking you to break the masslock penalty. Hey when the target flees like this one did, you don't want to shoot the guy right away, you want to sneak up and scan him 1st, 9 times out of 10 he will be wanted, then you can take him out without getting any bounty/fine. Black Market will depend on what faction is in control of that settlement/station, this changes at times, and the information on Inara is only as good as the most recent commander that was running EDMC or similar when they visited that station/settlement. You can see the last time the market information was updated by clicking the name of the station/settlement, it will bring you to a screen that shows last date information was updated to Inara. There is a lot of stuff constantly going on in the background changing stuff over time, Inara doesnt know the changes unless a Commander running a 3rd party app reports it to the EDDN (this is where Inara and others pull their info from). Hope this explains some of the 'Glitches' Fun Video! o7
Thank you :) I create Elite videos occasionally (there are a lot on the playlist (ua-cam.com/video/IbLccfAbB0A/v-deo.html). My channel is also a bit of a mix, I focus on Valheim, Elite, strategy games also some flight related things.
Lots of good tips here.. how many times over the years I've wished every single PC player of ED had EDMC installed! It would go a long way towards keeping Inara better informed.
Mass lock factor 23, thats quite a big vessel. If you want to escape the mass lock more quickly pips engines and boost away in the opposite direction.. It's always faster than waiting to relog.
I was boosting away, what's strange is there was nothing on the scanner either so I'm not convinced it was a ship. The only things on the scanner were cluttered far away signals that the game sometimes shows at extreme range.
Thing is, when I pilot a vulture, it's not that manoeverable even with A grade engineered thrusters. I'd expect a light combat ship to beat a heavy combat ship in manoueverability, at least from common sense.
@@hazenkorakagaming I have no idea how to explain that I am not a pilot but if you engage any AI pilot this pilot will always turn their nose to your ship and fly towards and past you then they turn again towards you. If you use your left stick to turn by pushing up or down you can use right stick to add turn speeds to vertical thrusters in the opposite direction and your nose will be the first to complete the turn to open fire on the AI pilot.
@CrazyBite2007 No problem, I understand what you are saying (use the thrusters to add velocity to your movement vector). I also understand the AI is just "jousting". Unfortunately, that's a bad outcome for the player, as you never have much chance to land shots.
@@hazenkorakagaming A more difficult technique to try is to orbit the victim in the right location. This way the victim is always trying to turn to face you but never can reach the point to return fire. But this is pretty difficult to achieve. Not impossible. Try it with slow turning opponents. Like some anaconda.

Love the longplay elite vids
Thanks :) Sorry they are long but I like to tell a story with context :)
Sorry, was this actually sarcasm? I'm not sure.
@@hazenkorakagaming no it’s real
Ok, sorry, I got a downvote just as you commented that, so I thought it was sacastic :)

Vulture is literally always going to dance arround your Viper all day long. No matter how you upgrade it.
