I enjoy your videos especially your adventures in the Philippines. I dont even notice your videos are usually longer than 30 mins. My sister and parents live in Toronto and I have been there a few times. I can understand how you are melting here with the heat like i freeze everytime i leave the house in Toronto. Its nice seeing your thoughts and point of view.😊

Yes Robert, if you drink a cold drink on a hot day your body uses a lot of energy to warm it up so hence a hot drink is better for your body on a hot day. Love my cuppa tea on a hot day. Natalie is right again

I told you to wear dark sunglasses and sunblock to avoid sunburn. We normally use umbrellas too to shield the sun's rays. That's why we love the educational policy here in Southeast Asia for at least they are being disciplined. Uniforms are necessarily being practiced, especially when new item of items of clothing are too expensive for students to wear every day.

I’m Filipino (and age 60 now) born in the U.S. but did grow up & even went to school in Zamboanga City, PI from age 3 to 9 and every time I go back to Zamboanga, I am culture shock. I too am not used to some of the living conditions. BGC Manila is more what I would be used to if I were to return to the PI. Unfortunately, where my mother and family are from (Zamboanga), I just cannot stay there. Plus I am vegan now and Zamboanga probably doesn’t have places that serve vegan foods. However, there are plenty of places in Manila and Siargao. Planning for our next visit for 2026.

Puerto Princesa is one of the cleanest cities in the country and people are very aware of their environment and keeping it clean. State universities are government-run therefore they have strict standards AND RULES, and although they are not free, the feess and way lower than private schools. They also have a lot of government scholarshipsalthough getting and maintaining one is very competitive.

Here in the Philippines teachers are considered second parents of the students... so we have same level of respect to our teachers as to our parents... hopefully that is still the same today.

There are a lot of things to do in Puerto Princesa. It has the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, which is one of the longest navigable subterranean parks in the world and there are daily trips going in/out of the caves, There are also daily island-hopping trips from the city which brings you to white sand islands. The city itself has the Puerto Princesa City Baywalk Park which has gorgeous sunset at dawn. It has also great restaurants. One my fave is Ka Lui Restaurant, which offers fine and reasonably priced Filipino food in a very Filipino homey ambiance. And also not to miss in PP is street food Chaolong, which is inspired by Vietnamese Pho

My prior comment was not posted likely because I posted a contact number of a private banca boat tour for Coron. I decided for Coron vs. Nido because I prefer a quite immersion with nature. You may save with a group tour but we choose a private banca island tour so we control the time and places to go. In addition, you can visit the islands ahead of the crowd/tourists. You can lie on the front of the boat, get awesome pictures. If you need a private tour, I can recommend a contact person. We hired him randomly when we were in Coron last November. I and my son did a deep dive in Barracuda lake. Kayangan was the clearest lake. Malapuya island was just amazing, etc.Once the stitches removed, use topical antibiotics e.g. bacitracin and cover it with Tegaderm. BTW, it is tricycle not tuk tuk in the Philippines. Stay safe

You could've visited the "The Iwahig Penal Colony in Palawan, Philippines, is a one-of-a-kind open-air jail that offers a distinctive approach to penal rehabilitation. Established in 1904 during the American occupation, it was initially designed as a place for offenders sentenced to banishment." in Puerto Princessa.

However, the way of: I want to be ... leave me alone
is so 90's and with no discipline there is decadence (decaDunce?)
