When I do a subcuticular suture, I use an absorbable suture and leave the ends long without any knots. So after 14 days the long ends (“the whiskers”) can be trimmed leaving suture within the dermis to absorb over a period time.
Some surgeons used buried knot on either end of the subcuticular suture (like deep dermal sutures) and these do not need to be removed.
If a non-absorbable suture is used, you need to trim one and flush with the skin and pull-out the suture by applying gentle traction at the other end.
    Hope this helps.

Deep dermal sutures are not meant to, and indeed cannot, be removed. This is why deep dermal sutures is performed using absorbable sutures, which the body absorbs after some time.

You said that after deep dermal sutures, take interrupted suture or any other... is it ok to close the skin with only deep dermal stitches and no any other stitch in the skin after it?
