For quicker removal, could you just cut both strings at the knot on top, and pull it out from the loop at the bottom? That way you cut once and pull once.
Excellent question! As long as no externally exposed suture is pulled back through the skin that would work. You’d have to be sure to clip both limbs under the knot, at the level of the skin, at the same time. I appreciate you checking out the video and the question!
