Admit it, some time in your life you've faked an injury too... I just decided to get a little creative with mine when I was about 12 years old haha. Today I'm sharing my story of the time I got a REAL black eye and then the time I faked one. To be completely honest I probably would have never faked a black eye if it wasn't for my real one. With my real black eye I was able to see the way my eye transformed during the swelling and bruising and I think I remembered that during my raid through my moms makeup bag haha! Anyways, I hope you enjoy my story time and the tutorial, this is perfect if you're dressing up as some type of fighter/boxer/thug. Hint the title "why I FAKED a black eye"
I'm not a hater or anything... but does this feel like "mocking"(That's not exactly the right word but I can't think of the correct one) domestic violence to anyone else. Like "I ran into a door" is what people used to say to try to hide DV. I know that's not the intention but I feel like... yeah.
She's just acting.
Uhm...no.
Maybe if she was being stupid about it and not just acting, but she wasn't.
I just don't understand why people think like that sometimes, I always read comments and they irritate me so much..
***** well like what's more important here... the comfortability of domestic violence victims in an intro that clearly alludes to that or the humor of other people who just want to see it as a joke? like i mentioned earlier, what else does that intro recall? who else fakes stories to fend off concern when they have bruises on their bodies? oh wait... only domestic violence victims do that. like that's great you don't see it that way but other people who have experienced this or who have seen this happen see it another way. respect that this makes some people uncomfortable. stop making this about yourself when some people cringe seeing this.
***** and no it's not because of the sole black eye that alludes to domestic violence. it's the whole thing about running into doors or falling down the stairs? dv victims make those stories up. those are direct words and quotes from dv victims. jesus.

I hit my eye with my dad's car door once and I was going to school and didn't wanna miss school so I had a swollen eye at school. And now I have a scar under my eye

that was kind of mocking imo like who else fakes stories about running into doors or falling down the stairs when they get black eyes? domestic violence victims. like no one else does it. i don't think she did it on purpose but those actions 100% allude to domestic violence victims trying to fend off concern about bruises on their body by creating false stories. even if it wasn't intentional, it was still insensitive.

I got a black eye when I was about 8 or 9 - I fell off a roundabout (like with loads of seats on that swings round really fast) and I sat up and the next seat swung round and hit me in the eye...

Lol I've had two black eyes in my life... 1 from a skateboard, it flipped up and the wheel hit me in the face ( I was 6... but i didn't cry until I looked in the mirror hahha) and then my second one I fainted and hit my face on the corner of a table, 2 weeks before going into high school (Gr.8) hahaaha I was very lucky my sister was there for me on picture day to help me hide the black eye!!

I don't care about the hate I get or the story behind this video but coming from am abusive background I found this to be of poor taste. I thought it was offensive and not needed. I have been a subscriber from the beginning and have always loved you, but this was horrible.

LOL, the only "injury" I've ever faked was being sick, my mom normally touches my forehead to see if I'm sick so I took a blow dryer and heated my forehead up lol to make it look like I was super sick .. oh gosh
My first black eye happened 2 years ago I was on my way to cheer practice and I got out of the car and I slammed the door but there was a shoe stuck in the door so when I slammed it the door Boucher and knocked me out.😂😂 I had to go to school the next day to.

I am, they are from Pinky Paradise. I ripped my last pair of normal contacts and I'm still waiting for my order to come in the mail so I'm kinda stuck with wearing colored contacts haha. (I think I like them though haha)

One time i tried to use regular light skin color makeup to hide a hickey from my new girlfriend's family, and it was not from her, and she knew it, but wanted to keep an open mind about my souvenir from my just ended relationship with the other girl. ;-P

They might embarrassing stories but stories we won't forget! ^_^ I remeber my first black eye, actually happened during winter break so yay for me lol. But I was not looking and I bumped my head on a metal rod in the bathroom. But then later I figured out I hurt my brow bone, so I was all swollen and my family made fun of me. And my grandma would always laugh and say oh Mariel go hit yourself again, as a joke because I am such a clutz :) nice tutorial and thanks for sharing

Yeah I known for being the clumsy one as well so no one in my family was shocked I got a "black eye" from opening the door haha. I think that's partially why I got away with it! LOL
