Totally exquisite - such an interesting perspective setting up before the performance, then that tantalising glimpse of the lovers dancing part of the balcony scene and afterwards, applause, adulation and back down to earth. I wish i had been there - what a night to remember!👏👑👏👑

Romeo & Giulietta was pure magic .... with you as the handsome Romeo and delightful and delicate Alina Cojocaru as Juliet. There could not have been a better pairing or a better Choreographer as Johan Kobborg.
We cannot stop speaking of how much we were all touched in Verona by this magical production.
We just pray the entire beautiful ballet was recorded .... because HIStory was made in many ways with this outstanding production of Romeo & Giulietta.

wait..i adore Sergei but the perfect Romeo was in the 70's Leonard Whiting, Zeffirelli..a film, sorry, as it's a spoken play ..not a ballet but you're right cara mia! however see Romeo & Juliet by Zeffirelly..the most gorgeous as was Juliette, Olivia Hussey :)
Yes I was talking about ballet :), but talking about movies the Zeffirelli's Romeo e Giulietta is of course among my favorites, probably the best!

just lovely... and it has a very cinematic take on it that is very interesting , i wish i had the chance to seen it. he is always part of such interesting artistic project.

What a wonderful experience this was....I could see it over and over again. Will there be a dvd? Or even better - more performances with the same immaculate cast. How about the Royal Albert Hall? Or the O2 or a football stadium, such as Stamford Bridge? Everyone fulfilled their part of Johan’s brilliant vision. Bravo! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
