+Tomas Garcia Dumler i listened to a combo of this, the silver and gold piano medleys, and the ruby/sapphire/emerald piano medley videos constantly while doing my dissertation for University, got a 1st with a fantastic paper, I thought it made fantastic background music to break the silence of the library. Also gave me massive urges to play the pokemon games for somereason... haha
+Tomas Garcia Dumler I definatly recommend putting it at 1/3rd or half volume so its a silence breaker and not the forefront of your mind, its noticable but not your main point of interest. Melodic music like this without lyrics is best I find

WHY DO YOU AVOID THE BASE NOTES??? FRIKIN USE THEM!!!!! THEY ARE THERE FOR A REASON, music always sounds the best with the perfect combination of low and high notes, NEVER JUST ONE, dont you feel that???
Of course all notes on a piano is important, but if you listen closely, you will see that there is a good mix of low and high tones in the arrangement which is made here. Also, some of the music in the earlier pokemon games refrained from using low tones to set a certain mood. Of course you could argue that he could have made the arrangement his way and disregard this, but as a mean of replicating the actual themes from the game, he has done a superb job, and have made it perfectly playable for two people.
