Currently at 240,000 miles 06 H2 Trans rebuilt, tie rods, rotors, shocks (air suspension went out years ago replaced with stiff springs so it sits higher haha )all replaced. About 6k worth of work over the span of 3 years so… not bad. She purrs like it’s nothing now 😆

Just bought an H2 about 1 month ago. I love it ! Needs a couple of things but for the age and mileage it’s great ! 102k miles now !!

My ‘06 is only at 68K and runs perfect. Bone stock lux with the factory rear HD shocks and springs. Didn’t want the compressor. I’ve sealed all potential water leak areas and made sure all weep holes are clear. I also coat the entire undercarriage in Surface Shield to protect it from road salt up here in the rust belt. Best $50 you can spend on any car up here if you want it to last. Zero rust on mine so far. I do all my own service on it as well. Last summer I did all fluid changes on it that are possible. Not hard with good music rocking and you take your time. I’ve only had to replace the 4WD switch and both upper and lower shift bushings, along with front bump stops. Easy stuff. It’s hard to imagine but in a little more than three years this beast will be 20 years old. Where I’m at, it will be months before I see another one on the road. They are getting rare now. I’m sure there are many more down south and out west.
2003 H2. Excellent off road capabilities. I will get a winch and new tie rods soon. Some water leaks. I have had a great experience so far. Gas is the same as my f150 4x4 xlt

They’re getting up in age, I put in the last year about 3k in repairs. Tranny might be coming up soon and t-case rebuild and headstuds. The weather stripping needs replacing so that’s almost 1k by itself
All the $$ i had put in it its well worth it. This truck puts a smile in my face just by looking at it .
@@dailydrivenH2 same, was gonna sell mine, hadn’t drove it in a while. Then I drove it again and said nope, not selling it
220k on my h2 just recently replaced engine with a higher output lq9 and transmission rebuilt with upgraded clutch with Thor toque converter. Looking for another 200k

Can you explain the difference between the H2 and the H3 and which models are the best to purchase such as the Luxury / Base or Action series? Also what about the SUT??

@@dailydrivenH2 major issues? Original motor and trans? I just bougth black 2008 model whit 42k miles. Xd wheels and 37 nitto m/ts.. are reliable vehicles? Thanks..
