The technical quality of your recent videos (that tour of southern Italy and Sicily was just stunning) seems to have really reached the sweet spot in terms of portability and quality. Respect! I know making videos is complicated but I didn't know how complicated until now. I've always loved your videos and will always watch you guys before any one else. Yes, Sara, the music you use is a big plus. I also appreciate that your sound remains pretty constant throughout. This is the best “Gear” video that we have ever seen. It is so true that the gear is less important than telling the story. I loved the section on flying the drone. We also fly a drone for our vlogs and haven’t developed the courage to do it from the moving vehicle yet. It was great to see how you guys do it. Thanks for sharing.

Ciao bellisima coppia, I’ve often wondered how you make such brilliant vids and how you select such great footage and edit it all into great entertaining content. Thank you for the very informative insight into how it’s done.... tho’ I know you are very skilled and professional at what you do and you’re too modest to admit it, so thank you very much for showing us the hard work and hours you put in to entertain us. Aww I remember the episode when you were robbed and I was totally gutted for you and I thought how horrible some people are to rob someone of they’re prized and personal possessions just to make a fast buck, but all credit to you both it didn’t deter you from carrying on and still making the excellent entertaining vids you still make. A great sharing/learning episode.. I do not do video.. but I've had earlier version of the RX100 for years It was a revelation it made me get rid of some older bigger cameras. So compact it helps with photo rule #1 "Take camera" live love peace, beautiful ones

I have always been blown away by the quality of your travel videos. The drone shots, the editing and sound engineering are almost always amazing. It was fascinating learning about your cameras, drones and sound tracks. Truly professional. Is there anything you guys don’t do well?
LOVE THIS VIDEO!!! ❤️ I try to wrap my head around technical things but it’s really tough for me. I truly love your videos & it’s because you take the time & make the efforts to utilize all of your equipment. WOW! There is only one thing I wish were possible to incorporate - when you have placed some music in the video, if you could somehow place the title of the music in a corner of the screen. You have added some music in several videos that totally moved me!! There is no way I’ll ever be able to track down that music again except to play that video again & again (lol). I never understand why yourselves and my other favourite channel "kinging-it" seem to work so hard and do such amazing adventures and create masterpieces of film, that are funny informative and full of joy, that make me smile.
yet have so few subscribers compared to other travel/van/house build channels, that do nothing but whine and claim they are hard done by, whilst putting out the weakest content twice a week. They also frankly coming across as not genuine or very nice people.
Whereas yourselves seem truly humble gracious and caring people. That make my world a better place. Ed

WOW! Thanks Luca for the drone flying information, we just bought our first drone and were looking to start our flying experience after the Texas freeze ended. Now after listening to you, we are feeling a lot better about learning to fly. We have been using a lot of stock footage and really would like to use our own footage so this is why we decided to buy a drone, and they are expensive but well worth it once we learn to fly it. Great that you explained to anyone interested that you don't need super fancy equipment. I remember my dad telling me something like, you can buy the best Leica on the market but if you don't have a good eye, what's the point. Have always admired your way of seeing through the lens. What I have not seen in your video is that you are using a gimbal stabilizer. In my experience, your video images become much calmer and smoother. I myself use the DJ Osmo 3 (about 100 euros) and have good experiences with it. Continue with your nice youtube channel ! Greetings from Rotterdam-Holland.

Luca and Sara, I am so frustrated (as I know you are) that your channel is not growing in leaps and bounds. Everything important in UA-cam channel creation is present with y'all: content, flow, music, photography, audio, and most of all, the two of you are just SO REAL!!! I look so forward to every video, and my life is richer because of what you have created and are creating! Thanks for this "behind the scenes" look at your process and equipment. I suspect it would be very easy to expound on the subject and do several long videos, and I for one would really enjoy that, especially more footage covering the details behind the scenes where there is a lot of dialogue. Keep up the great work, and I would encourage anyone who watches your videos regularly to make sure you subscribe, watch the videos to the very end every time, and click that thumbs up icon! Awesome! Now I have even more appreciation of the work that goes into making your amazing videos! I really liked the last footage in the van, showing you using the drone, because it also shows how you use your Sony and GoPro while filming within the vehicle.
I totally agree that the story is always the most important thing and also the stability of the footage, because I definitely get a headache watching some UA-cam videos, often just because they pan too fast!
