Despite the fact you are young enough to be my granddaughter, Yikes, I have learned so much about building a You Tube channel from watching your channel and a few others, and following the great advise. Prior to starting my channel I thought You Tube was just somewhere that kids went to so they could show off skateboard stunts or pranks. I had no idea what You Tube was. Due to this great information despite knowing nothing about You Tube and having zero and I mean zero technical skills I have gained almost 11,000 subscribers in 10 months. I know it's not 100,000. But, for someone who still can't copy and paste that is practically a miracle. So, I just want to say thank you and please keep on sharing your advise with us rookies, old and young!
My favorite part was when you said not to spend all the time in the world working on tasks and to limit yourself to get things done in a set time or else we will use all the time to complete tasks. So true!

First off...this is an excellent round up of improving entrepreneurship habits. Second... my "word" for 2021 is networking. I network well on IG...but because I'm bit of a micro managing entrepreneur... I have to really push myself to reach out to other entrepreneurs on UA-cam and for my Podcast. Last year I really enjoyed the few collabs I did and I want more of them this year.

14:15 I have been an entrepreneur since I was like 13 years old and I am now 39 and have never been able to get far from off the ground. I am an artist that learned to draw at age 11 I would draw these masterpieces and then I found a way back then to print the artwork on t-shirts... Then then all through high School I was really good at doing hair and I've used to do everyone's hair and made decent money but by the time I went to school for cosmetology I ended up with carpal tunnel and nerve damage in both hands... In 2006 I didn't get discouraged I got back up I've always been a spoken word poet and a songwriter so I decided I would go after a full career at rapping. I was really great and everyone around my town knew me but my business is a rapper never quite got off the ground... 2016 at age 35 I decided since the artwork never worked I would go back to school and become a graphic designer. Being a full-time single mother it was a struggle getting through college it took me five years but I now am a graphic designer and have certification and web design. Before I took my dream internship the pandemic happened... May of last year I decided to become a content creator and I incorporate my art here and music. So I have that entrepreneur spirit. Not to mention every venture I've went after I've always had to work a life draining life-sucking 9 to 5 as well. So far the little extra time that I had towards my different businesses was always stolen away by people who really do not care. They claim to care but they cannot care if they take me away from what I really want to be with just their needs always be. So what you said right there I know that for hours would be very hard because when I don't answer the phone for them. They overstep their boundaries and call the next person in the house with me seconds later they're beating down my door and handing me the phone anyway. They don't seem to want anything more in life than what they have I have always known that my life was supposed to be more I was supposed to do more in life than just these nine to five. I know because if I wasn't I wouldn't be such a amazing artist. so I am going to start with the 30 minutes that's even going to be a challenge cuz I already know how they are but I think I'm going to just instead of coming straight home I'll just go somewhere for 30 minutes...

Connecting with people and building relationships is my top priority at the moment. I fell into the same struggle as you did where I mainly focused on my own growth and forgot to allow others to come along the journey. Even though it's difficult for me at times to put myself out there, I'm taking action slowly but surely to be more social and extroverted in the community
Oh yeah and I left out the best part. Because I have failed at so many different aspects it makes it really hard to not think the next venture of content creation will be a failure. I hate that I cannot get that out the back of my mind. So that is so true that fear is real!!! But on the cusp of turning 40 I told myself if this fails then I'll just give up and just keep my nine to five and be satisfied with that...
The amazing thing about UA-cam is I literally am my own boss. I make the decisions that influence my channel and something about that feels empowering. Keep up the great work!
