GIRL, as much as I love watching your videos, it’s a reminder that another year has gone by without taking the leap! I WILL be starting my channel in 2023. Thank you for the constant support and sharing your wisdom✨
I love this! She has been a major inspo for my channel as well. It’s totally work it. I look forward to your content!
I think there are a lot of us feeling this way! So glad Erin is a reminder to get up and START!
You got this! 👏🏽 I just posted my 2nd video of the year. It’s such a satisfying feeling when your videos are out there in the UA-cam-sphere lol
💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
What’s your email (for business)
I’ve “started” (for the 3rd time). Stepping out of my comfort zone and I agree so much with Erin. I decided back in October to just do a video on what I WANTED to do, which was an empty house tour for our new house. That is the first video that has grown for me. And yall, a lot of my followers have come from SHORTS. And they Return to my channel each week. So try shorts!
Proud of you! ❤
Thanks for that tip i just started also . The shorts tip works! It just takes being consistent. Slow progress is still progress! I just subscribed !
Thanks for the tip 😊
So happy for you! Thank you for the idea.. I’ve been thinking about shorts!
Ok I will try
Fantastic tips! I've started layering my content on UA-cam, and boost app social has been instrumental in making my profile look professional and appealing.
Their AI tools for generating captions and descriptions are a lifesaver. My UA-cam engagement has improved a lot after using boost app social.
I agree! The AI tools of boost app social have helped me create engaging content across different platforms.
This just made being a UA-camr way more human. Less about the Algorithm and metrics and rules, but more about being genuine and connecting with people.
For sure!! Thanks for watching Maria! xx
Yes! I love this concept. Sharing our experience without trying to have the algorithm work our way.
I am starting this week. Thanks for sharing this information 😊
@@sassyd3667 good luck
People may say that starting YT channel is saturated because they don't want you to take a piece of cake, well it is not and not even close. I just started three years ago and already crossed 85k\month with two major channels. However, lots of info is missing. I noticed everyone keeps the secrets for themselves, I understood that after reading an eBook. No one is talking on how to outrank competitors videos properly (Which is one of the most important thing), how to gain traffic outside YT, how to do proper off site SEO to gain additional traffic etc...
Happy to hear about your success! Do you mind to share the name of the book?
2) Can you rank a UA-cam video with CTR manipulation with real users (no bots)?
@@danielrony4169 YES, 100%. with getting a few real people to help, you can rank.
real people bypasses google bot guard filters.
Oh and the name is YTalgoexposed
That's the site name as well ^
@@stevekannan6076 found it! thanks a lot!!
I took almost two years off from posting cause I literally got stuck. I had lots of video ideas about a topic I wasn't passionate about, I was doing it cause that's what my audience were looking for. Layering seems like it would work out much better for me. I do want the layers to make sense while allowing me to express myself fully. This video is truly helpful
i’m starting! and actually just published my first video a few hours ago. it was so hard trying to get myself together to actually apply the effort. but the thing is - the anxiety is kind of thrilling? like im aware of the fact that real youtube growth is going to have its ups and downs. but knowing that my efforts will one day show in my channel’s growth is why i feel like i gotta commit 🤷🏽♂️ we gotta get to this youtube bag in 2023.
I agree with layering with a niche that's what I currently do on my channel craft tips along with some vlogs here and there. Great tips!!!!
Thank you for saying there is plenty of room for new creators. It's so insidious, this feeling that there isn't room for me/you, so THANK you for speaking that out loud. Especially as a current creator, not being worried about "competition" because there's plenty of room. xo
So glad it was helpful! Thank you for watching. xx
I started my You Tube channel TODAY!!!!! Two years of talking myself out of it and today I finally did it!!!! 💎 Divine timing! Thank you
Ahhh!! Congrats on starting!!!
@@ErinOnDemand Gratitude to you! It was on your virtual vision board party two years ago that I added wanting a channel and where I literally manifested being a full time entrepreneur! 🙏🏾
Congratulations you got this don't give up 👈
Just subbed 💜
@@sevysev Thank you! 💎
I love how you define it is layering. Because there is so much I want to offer to my subscribers, and I am finally finding a path to do just that great tip. Love you channel always support.
I am resuming my channel, thank you so much sis❤I have been holding my myself back thinking people ain’t going to watch me
They will Sarah! You just have to consistently create content and they'll come along for your journey!
Layering did it for me!! I just started about a month ago was trying to put myself in a box. It wasn’t comfortable because I felt like I was being forced to show certain types of content. Layering is the EXACT term to describe what I want to do with my channel! I just thought you had to pick a few topics. Thank you!😊🙌🏾🥰
I’m coming back from your original video 3 years ago I believe …I’m definitely starting this year and I’m drinking your content like a glass of milk lmao. Very very good information and I’m glad you started the premise of it that it isn’t too late.
After loosing interest and giving up. I started my youtube back again this year. Thankyou so much for these videos Erin. they are changing our youtube game.
It's great that you started back. Did you decide to create a new channel or use the one you already had?
@@UjoWadjet I created a new one dear
@@VaishnaviManognavlogs Oh ok, awesome!
You can also use the channel you already have. Just start posting and if you have any old subscribers, they'll unsubscribe on their own if they don't want to continue seeing that type of content.
More often than not though, people like to go on journeys and will continue to support yours even if it's not what they subscribed to in the beginning.
You got this! Just post!
I'm so glad these videos are helpful! Don't give up! Just keep going! It'll pay off in the end!
“the key is to not wait any longer” i love this because i feel like i started too late but there is no such thing in starting too late.
I RE-started my UA-cam journey again this year. In the past I’ve started and quit. I’ve been monetized and deleted channels. But this is what I want and I’m mentally prepared to work for it now. So, I’m practicing and doing the research. Im finding the content that I like the most and I’m figuring out what kind of space I want to take up on this platform. Practice.
Same here
This is great! Keep it up
This video really resonated with me. I remember saying I'm going to start a YT channel in Jan 2023 but ended up starting it in 2022 and now have over 1000 subs. So glad I started when I did. Really is no time like the present. Thank you for being so inspirational, love from a UK sub!
Congratulations
@@XclusiVThash aww, thank you kindly🥰
Motivation right there! Needed this. As new channel trying to share interracial LDR, travel and visa content, it’s a bit scary but SO motivated now! ❤️🔥
I just started my chanel at the end of last year. I've been wanting to for a long loooong time and finally just jumped in. My biggest issue is definitely time management. 3 kids, 9-5 job, hubby works long hours ...it all gets in the way plus art is a very time consuming activity to post about but im getting better each day. One step at a time!🖤
One step at a time, mama! You got this. Even if you have to start with YT shorts to get your feet wet. Do what you can xx
@@ErinOnDemand YAAAS! Shorts have definitely been quicker and easier to do. I've been trying to do at least 3 a week and so far I'm doing pretty good keeping up with that.
I’m on the journey to being consistent and making UA-cam the heartbeat of my business and I’ve been binging your channel all morning. I’ve been watching since 2020 and I love how you present the information and still allow your personality to shine. Thanks Erin!
Aww thank you so much!! I’m telling you, once you get into the groove of YT, it’s really not that bad! Xx
Yesssss me too! 🙌🏻 baby steps!
I took the leap at the end of 2022, after dreading UA-cam for 2years and told myself that, “I don’t care how I do it, but I’m uploading one video by Dec 31st”. I’m glad I made the jump and just did it. Now I’m looking forward to finding the right rhythm and spending the next few months learning more about YT and areas I can make marginal improvements to increase audience and retention. Thanks always Erin for the practical tips! ❤
Happy for you 🎉 it honestly isn’t easy
The one thing that I'm still working on with my channel (especially after rebranding it a bit a few times) is to show as much of MYSELF as I can! Millions of people talk about similar things, but they still get subscribers because viewers enjoy the PERSON behind the camera.
Thanks for this!
ExactlyYou’re exactly right Darren! You got this though. Just be yourself.
I’ve been a UA-camr for a few years but I always stop and start again. But this year my goal is to be consistent and get monetized 😩 wish me luck.
This was super helpful. I love the new addition of the title and description box generator. Thanks so much for sharing that tip!
Good luck!😊
This has been the video I’ve resonated most with on this topic. Thank you so much for your hope and motivation! I’m committing to getting back on track with editing!
Erin I’ve been watching you for a while and I must say I learn so much from you. Now I’m ready to apply all that I’ve learned. Thanks girl I’m still watching! ❤
Thank you for such an informative and practical video Erin and also for the prep talk. I’ve wanted to start my UA-cam channel for years and ready to take the plunge now and do it afraid! So thank you ♥️
Thank you so much for taking the time to give us tips in a very detailed and jelpful way. I've watched so many videos that don't really give examples of the tips given but you said many things I could apply to my channel easily. I'm definitely sharing your video with friends who are also trying their best like me to help our channel grow. :)
Thank you, Erin. These tips are so helpful. The concept of layering makes so much sense because I am the multifaceted kind of person who wants to share who I am, not just what I do.
I will be watching all of your content and takeing notes 3 days a weeks is school with Erin. And 2 days is practice what you are teaching meaning playing with the editing and sitting in front of the camera making training videos and reviewing my mistakes. Useing the equipment I have until the coins start coming in from this new business.
I started my channel last year and I still love to watch videos like this because I don't think I'll ever stop learning. Thanks for the video 🤎
This video was everything! I will definitely will take the advice on Layering and not niching. You do this so well with you channel. I have my primary pillars but will be adding a few more for my channel as I want it to be a place where people can get to not only the services I provide but to get to know and like me as well.
I needed to hear these tips especially the tip about layering. I’m always concerned that my content is all over the place but I try to remind myself that everything connects and represents me. Thank you for this advice 😊
Love the tip to layer instead of niche, so helpful! You’re such a huge inspiration for my channel Erin!
Thank you so much for this. Lately, I've been kinda discouraged but your energy gave me the much needed kick ❤
I have just found your channel and thank you. As soon as this covid bout is over and I can speak lol. I am starting. Its been too long in the making. My sister is helping me with editing so that's great and a good start. Thank you for your advice and push. Your the real deal😊
The first tip that resonated most for me was layering instead of niching down. The second was that quality and frequency are equally important.
I’m so glad!! You got this!! 🫶🏽
@@ErinOnDemand Thanks Erin😊
I love your energy, I started my channel 1 month ago and I am excited for the journey xx
These are some great tips - thank you! I'm just starting out with my new art channel, and I find the video editing part so difficult. That's something I have to work on. Videos like yours are a gold mine for me 🙏🏼 Thanks again!
I loved your layering tip. Just started getting serious about my UA-cam. You're amazing! Thanks for sharing your expertise queen
Doing video content is something I want to try in an effort to yank myself out of my comfort zone and share my story + expertise to build community and help someone as well as myself. My biggest apprehension - hence me dragging my feet on starting where I am - is that people won’t engage or that I’ll do it “wrong”. Your videos are so great and your openness is so encouraging for me so I’m going to spend this week identifying some topics that I can dive into and start strategizing my official channel debut. Thanks so much, Erin!
So many gold points as usual, Erin. I started being consistent this year and already seeing growth. Getting closer to that 1k. Super exciting!!
I want to start off by saying you were such an inspiration to me this morning. I appreciate your transparency and the faith that you pour into us. The message that stuck with me the most was. The more you show up for yourself, the more confidence your going to have showing up. The step that I’m stuck at is editing. I want my content to be great quality, so I haven’t put out because I want to perfect editing before I put it out. I do practice, I write everything down as far as planning my content out, and establishing layers of my UA-cam. I’m going to challenge myself to upload my content by February!!! Keep being the great person you’re 💜
Love this! So many great tips. Just started my channel a few weeks ago at the top of the new year. And I feel great that my mind set aligns with this video 🌸✨
I have been starting for 3 years due to just fear and overthinking. Thank you for this video what you said about thinking about starting again next year and having to watch another "Just start" video really resonated with me.
I love how inspiring you are and how you always give your audience exactly what they need to move forward with their businesses and their own youtube channels! I'm entering my third year on UA-cam and I must say, I wish I was growing a bit faster than this however I'm also enjoying the journey. Thanks for coming through for us with this solid advice Erin! 🤗
Really enjoyed this video and the call out to focus on content and editing because it's so easy to get caught up in the 'perfecting the thumbnail and hopping onto trends' mania. I will definitely take these tips, especially the one around story telling and apply them to my videos. I have so much more consistency now but would love to be a better storyteller.
I like the layer concept. Exactly what I have been thinking about when it comes to starting my channel again
I loved the explanation of the layering, Erin. Especially since I don't want to make videos on just 1 specific subject and play around with different things.
The fact you gave different forms of videos to post really gave the biggest push for me. In my mind I feel like the videos I want to make I have the potential to ramble, but I want to do my subjects justice. You really helped me feel comfortable about doing informative short form videos because those are more convenient for me to do.
Oh, this was so good. I just started my channel, and I really appreciate you confirming it’s not too late.🙏🏾 That thought has definitely held me back for a while.
The layering tip and the feelings that you articulated are spot on. The desire to layer cause me to also get stuck on what I want to name my channel/brand
This was extremely insightful. The major key that stood out to me and is something I will be working on is Story Telling. Not only that but being able to outline my message and break it down so it’s easily digestible. I’ve been putting starting a Channel of a while because I wasn’t confident in the things I would be share BUT NOW I’m Ready to SHARE MY STORY. Thank you for all the videos and insight. Such a blessing 🤝🏾
i'm starting. set a goal last weekend to film 4 videos and i CRUSHED it. took me about 6 hours (not including glam time lord lol). But i've heard all of my faves including you talk about how much UA-cam has changed your lives and i'm like, uhmmm sis why haven't you pressed record yet?! No more shoulda coulda wouldas. 2023 is the year of execution. Thank you for the constant inspo, Erin.
Yessss Tanya! It truly changed my life, and if you continue executing, it'll change yours too!! Keep going and congrats to you for filming ahead!!
Quality and quality content going hand in hand was the punch line for me . Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much for this Erin! I am rebranding and coming back in February so this videos and these tips really helped! Thank you so much!
I actually started my UA-cam channel in 2022 and almost quit this year 2023. The filming, the editing 😭
I'm starting this week! If my 12-year-old nephew can have a monetized UA-cam channel, then I can too! This video is exactly what I needed to see, especially the part about layering. I want to be able to talk about ALL the creative things I'm passionate about, especially about fashion and my hand-crafted wardrobe, reading and book collecting, maybe a little music, and then a smattering of gardening and art and decorating.
I’m starting now! What resonated with me the most is when you said, layering your content because that’s what I had in mind, so I’m on the right track as far as how I’m going to set up my UA-cam channel. Thank you so much.
I'm starting! I love your content and you are very encouraging. I've been starting my channel since the end of 2019....time to just do it! Thank you!
I made my channel but I have been so fearful to show my face in videos. Seems like all the channels are of young people so that's one fear. I have been watching you for over 2 years and you are so knowledgeable and willing to share. Hoping this will be the year I get over the fear and just start. Planning to start with just shorts as I have a ways to go as far as editing goes. So I will keep watching and gaining some know how. Thanks for the inspo!
There are plenty of older men and women who have channels. I guess it depends on the subject matter/content. Don’t be discouraged.
Erin, you are incredibly intelligent and so logical. I only just discovered you a week or so ago. There is no reason why millions would not subscribe as you are really the best must motivating, inspirational, cheery🎉, business person I’ve come across utube. As I said in my last post, you have the business potential of Oprah. Happy 2023! 🎉🎉🎉
I am STARTING. Yes I’ve been putting it off. But I also been studying and putting things together on the pack end! This video helped me so much because my issue was honing in on an niche but now that you enlightens me with layering I now feel more confident with recording my first official video! Thank you 🙏🏽
Love your content so much. You have helped me gain the confidence to start my UA-cam page this year. I have wanted to do this for so long and finally have the courage. 2023 is my year!! Thank you for all of your tips and knowledge. Your helping so many people. ❤🙏
I am starting ... I've let 3 years pass. You are very informative, and I thank you for your transparency.
So excited for you to start your channel this year. Thank you for watching!
this is the best advice i’ve heard in a long time. i appreciate your genuine approach so that us viewers can understand content creating as a passion instead of just a career. i’m more excited to start creating with what i learned from this video!
I’m starting! I watched another one of your videos and one of the tips that resonated with me was writing down what I want to include in my first video/vlog. So, I will be doing that tonight before bed instead of scrolling and daydreaming about my videos. Thank you so much for this video!❤
Girl I feel like you went in with these definitely hitting the nail on the head. I’ve always sorta known these points but you’ve vocalised and even help me to make a distinctive difference of what I was thinking

I started a channel in 2022 but then kind of gave up after three months…I was told to narrow down and have niche which proved to be difficult so thank you for talking about layering because it something I have been considering.2023 I am going to try and be consistent.❤️
Erin..you deserve more. Your channel is underrated! Some UA-camrs talked so much but your ways are more doable and resonate with me.❤️❤️ I wish you an awesome life ahead!! Love your advice and thank you!
One of the best videos on this topic that I've seen, thank you. I know my unusual craft vids are my focus, but so much more I want to share. I think connection videos will be easier when I have more subs, but lots to think about! Sharing ideas for sure is what I'm into.

Probably one of the only videos that gave very practical tips on growing a UA-cam channel! So helpful! The one tip that resonated with me the most is to layer and not niche!! For so long I thought I had to just focus on fashion on my channel because that’s what was getting the most views but I just now started to branch out and make other videos on different topics!
Thanks
Thank you for watching! xx
