I’m looking for DMX controller that is Midi keyboard responsive to Notes/Velocity/PB/MW/AT commands. Does that exist? More specifically, a horizontal light responsive to notes, strobe synced to tap-tempo, strobe intensity on mod wheel, flash intensity on note velocity, chordal colors etc Basically, I want to program lights for my synth / piano playing
Can the soundswitch “box” be used as a standalone DMX controller. If its not connected to the software, can I still use it to control lighting color changes?
@@DJDarylBennett Thanks .. that leads to my second question. 1. I can run soundswitch on my DJ laptop with serato, or on a second "lighting" laptop without serato? I would just lose the functionality of syncing with serato?
hi! i am seeking a dmx light, software program, which should play mp3,waw etc. what i mean, we have a theatre, in a light scenerio i want to add sound, in form of mp3, waw etc. when i push next scenerio button, i would like to start mp3 and change laiht with 1 program. is any suggestion?
I mean a permanent license for 200 bucks is just a lot of money. And then you still need the 40 dollar adapter or the 300 dollar interface. And i know dmx interface are pricey, but 200 dollars or 8 dollars a month for a piece of software? To mich money for hobby djs
Sent it back, too complicated for quick learning, crashed my new MacBook several times and on top of all that the fools want a monthly subscription 😂😂😂 NOT!

Which light bars are you using? They look so cool
The gigbar 2
awesome, I was wondering that how I can syncing the lights with my current playing music during playing with Rekoredbox ?
You can use stand-alone mode and manually sync the bpm, but you're not going to get the same level of integration as VDJ, engine dj, or serato

No it must be connected to a laptop running the soundswitch software. Standalone mode refers to not being connected to a DJ software like serato

You could accomplish something similar to this in SS, but there's probably an easier solution. But I'm unaware of many DMX software that play mp3s

Does it works for windows 10?
Yes
Do you pay for it monthly
You can do the free trial to see if you like it and then get a life time license if you want. That's what I did

Sorry it didn't work out man! If you ever decide to give it another shot, I've tried to create a few videos to simplify things! ☮️♥️
@@DJDarylBennett Thnx Daryl I appreciate that and I did watch your videos they helped a little but .....
avolites haha
Not super familiar with avolites, but they look like they're best for bigger productions?
No it's not, once you learn wolfmix you understand why, (aka adj wm1)
Wolfmix can't do what soundswitch can
How much bass do you want 😅
We were expecting 800+ students. It's the sixth biggest college in the state. Literally less than 30 showed up
@@DJDarylBennett that's a real shame because it looked like it would have been a great party
